As an experienced Lift Install Engineer you will be responsible for: Carrying out all aspects of lifts installation from plumbing of shafts, mechanical & electrical installation Providing regular updates to the Project Manager on status of project Willingness to work as part of a team Problem solving and working on your own initiative The Ideal Candidate: Experience working as an Engineer in the Lift Industry, ideally witihin Install. You will ideally have previous experience managing projects and have worked in the lift or construction industry. You will combine management experience with technical knowledge to be able to understand and solve the issues facing our engineers to meet customer and project requirements. You should be fully conversant with engineering drawings and able to plan, prioritise, organise and assign tasks, adapting your style to effectively train and pass on knowledge to others. You will be responsible for: Managing multiple installation projects of various sizes and revenue Managing direct and subcontract labour, materials and the finances of the project from start to completion, Ensuring final testing, commissioning and handover are completed in line with timescales set by the client. Maintaining customer relationships ensuring that targets and timescales are achieved and that all parties involved in the project are full informed at key stages of the process Supervising your direct reports and dealing with any issues that arise, whilst ensuring that accurate management reports are completed in a timely manner. The Ideal Candidate: Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams across concurrent projects. Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. Proven experience in project management within the construction, mechanical, or electrical sectors. Strong understanding of technical drawings, project schedules, and installation processes. Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and risk management. Full, clean Irish/EU drivers licence site travel will be required. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the repairs business and will be responsible for: Planning repair jobs to ensure that parts are available and repairs are carried out safely, on time and within budget. Ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely paperwork. Working in a customer facing environment building good working relationships, providing updates and feedback to clients on progress. Liaise with Repair Manager in completing Risk Assessment & Method Statements prior to any works being carried out. The supervision of repair engineers and sub contract labour utilizing the talents of the team and providing support and training to maximize the skills The Ideal Candidate: Preferebly you will have experience as a Service or Repairs Engineer, or have some experience working in the Lift Industry. Experience of managing/coordinating a team would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
