We are aleading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor delivering complex projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Commissioning Manager will lead and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities, managing subcontractors, direct labour, and communicating progress to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop commissioning plans, processes and schedules with project, engineering and construction teams. Manage all commissioning documentation including procedures, checklists and reports. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of commissioning-related equipment. Lead and support a team of commissioning engineers and technicians. Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with project specifications.     At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for an MEP Design Manager to work from our Cork operations with flexibility to occasionally visit our projects across Ireland and Europe essential. Your day to day will include: The Design Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end design strategy and delivery of hyperscale data centre programmes, acting as the single point of accountability for design from greenfield concept through to commissioning and handover. Based in Cork, the role supports projects in Northern Europe (primarily Germany AND Denmark) and will require travel to project sites during the design phase. Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, you will ensure designs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and fully compliant with technical and regulatory requirements. What we are looking for: Define and implement the design strategy and delivery plan for large-scale data centre projects. Lead design across all phases including feasibility, planning, developed design, IFC, and handover. Manage internal teams and external design consultants across CSA and MEP disciplines. Establish and oversee design governance processes, including reviews, RFIs/RFCs, change control, and design assurance. Lead interdisciplinary design reviews, including IDC/IDR, HAZID/HAZOP, and constructability assessments. Oversee BIM coordination and digital delivery using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and Common Data Environments.
