With continued growth in the renewable and energy-efficient building sector, they are expanding their Irish commercial team. They work closely with developers, main contractors and M&E partners on large-scale residential projects across Ireland. THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving specification and sales of heat pump and heating solution systems into large apartment complexes, housing developments and residential construction projects. The majority of your focus will be Leinster, particularly Dublin and surrounding commuter counties, though some nationwide travel will be required depending on project locations. You will be engaging with building contractors, developers, M&E contractors and plumbing/heating contractors, identifying opportunities at early project stage and managing the sales process through to award. This is a project-led, specification-style role with long sales cycles and strong commercial input. You'll manage existing relationships while actively targeting new developments and contractors to grow market share across your region. THE PERSON: Ideally you will come from a heat pump, HVAC or heating solutions sales background. Experience selling plumbing and heating products into building contractors or the residential construction sector is highly desirable. You will understand the construction sales cycle, be comfortable working on projects from early design through to installation, and have strong relationship-building skills. Candidates from a strong building services or technical sales background looking to move into the renewable heating space will also be considered. You must be based in Leinster and comfortable covering the territory with some national travel.
