Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities / Objectives: Conducting routine maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of beef processing equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, motor/gearbox and packaging machinery. Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshooting faults, and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime. Collaborating with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment longevity and optimal performance. Replacing and repairing defective components, such as motors, bearings, belts, and hydraulic systems. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history. To complete training and review of SOPs on compliance. Role Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Coordinator / Administrator to join our team at the Charleville production facility. The succesful candidate will be responsible t o manage site inventory requirements using the RGC system in line with relevant budgets. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be based at our processing plant in Charleville, Co. Cork and will be responsible for: Raising & managing POs and delivery dockets Management of stocks and data on the stock control system. Receiving goods and parts on to the system and into Stores. Managing Stock Location, Retrieval and planning for stock. Managing 6S for Stores. Point of Contact for Stores. Managing and maintaining the stock control system up to date and accurately at all times. Responsible for raw material planning and placing requests with procurement to ensure that all raw materials are available to meet production requirements. Provision of reporting to key stakeholders in relation to raw materials, stock levels and planning. Identify and manage exceptions to stock levels to ensure continuity of production ensuring that goods and stocks are always available. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, with specific focus on customer service, order fulfilment and cost. Full stock check to be done monthly and Reports to be sent to the area Manager and the site Finance department, to include: A Month End stock count and Physical Stock Count. Cycle Counting on the Maintenance stock and ensuring that the physical count agrees with records and system. It is essential to maintain stock levels to the required levels ensuring that no out of stock scenarios occur, and equally that over stocking does not occur. Comply with all aspects of the Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure all paperwork is up to date for upcoming audits. Liaise with Maintenance Manager in specific tasks such as water treatment, water usage and energy monitoring. Responsibilities Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and restore QC (Quality Control) checks in collaboration with the technical team, maintaining high production standards. Support commercial operations by validating that production plans, labels, traceability documents, and codes are accurate and prepared for each order. Coordinate with the financial team to ensure correct costings are assigned and that all workers are allocated to the correct jobs daily. Ensure all documentation and resources are in place for production supervisors and teams to perform their duties efficiently and without delay. Be present on site at all times during production and ensure all documentation in designated areas is to a high standard and in place. Liaise with the maintenance team regarding equipment repairs and replacements to minimize production downtime Serve as the main communication channel between production staff and main office management. Verify that all labels, traceability documents, and product codes are correct and up-to-date in the system.
