Receptionist Front Office
Monart 5 Star Destination Spa Hotel has a vacancy for a Receptionist to join our Front Office team. The candidate we are looking for should be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is capable of working individually and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate must be capable of performing in a challenging role that requires perfectionist levels of guest service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience within a 5-star hotel, 4-star hotel, or a call center setting. Applicants must be available to work variable shifts including early mornings and late evenings.
Responsibilities To greet guests on arrival with a warm and professional friendly manner.
To check in and out guests efficiently using the Reslynx Reservation System whilst adhering to our SOPs and Shift Plan.
To communicate our services and facilities to guests as required.
To deal with requests, queries, and suggestions quickly and efficiently.
To ensure that the guests' needs and requirements are met.
To take all reservations and ensure that all changes are updated in the hotel system accordingly.
To promote and upsell the hotel's facilities at all times.
To answer the telephone in a warm and friendly manner and to divert calls to the relevant and correct extension, and to take detailed messages as required.
To ensure that billing is correct and carried out in accordance with our SOPs.
To become familiar with all other procedures for reception.
To adhere to all hotel policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Security.
To provide support where necessary in other areas of the hotel.
To be patient and organized and be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and have the ability to prioritize these tasks.
Requirements At least one year’s reception experience working within a 5-star market or very high standard 4-star hotel; however, full training will be given to the right candidate.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Working knowledge of a hotel system is preferable.
Working knowledge of the Internet, Excel, and Word.
Organized with the ability to prioritize.
