Together, we advance your career. 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Position - Commercial Lawyer - EMEA (Maternity Cover) We are looking for a commercial lawyer based in Ireland on a fixed term basis. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating and advising upon a wide variety of real estate transactions in the EMEA region. You will also support inbound and outbound commercial and technology transactions. This position reports to the EMEA Legal Director. You will partner and collaborate with business groups primarily located in EMEA, as well as external lawyers to ensure appropriate contractual terms and protections for the business. Responsibilities IC DESIGN VALIDATION ENGINEER THE ROLE: As an IC Design Validation Engineer, you are responsible for hands on silicon bring up, debug, and bench characterization and technical support of AMD RFSoC and RF data converter products. THE PERSON: You have a passion for working with complex products incorporating RF, analog, digital and software elements. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with RF, analog, digital and software engineers to develop and debug tests under a range of operating conditions. Reproduce any issues that require investigation in a controlled lab environment and isolate root causes. Document and present findings clearly to a wider design team, enabling further investigation and communications to customers. Contribute technical insight during reviews, debug meetings, and escalation discussions. Perform bench level bring up and characterization of RFSoC and RF data converter products silicon. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other measurement equipment. Familiar with RF test equipment and methods. Familiar with FPGAs, Digital Signal Processing and software for automated testing. Ideally have hands on experience with bench level silicon debug and characterization. The AMD SerDes team in Ireland are hiring for a Staff level digital design engineer to work on the development of digital designs for complex mixed-signal ICs in the latest CMOS FinFET processes. The scope of the work includes the RTL design and implementation of complex clock and data recovery algorithms, adaptive digitally assisted control loops and the development of advanced DSP designs to achieve power efficient channel equalization solutions. The successful candidate will work with an experienced mixed signal design team delivering world-class SerDes solutions. Day to day responsibilities: RTL implementation of algorithms for clock and data recovery, adaptive digital control and DSP. Communication with the architecture team to understand proposed algorithms and provide feedback regarding design implementation. Digital design verification to ensure basic design functionality prior to hand-off of the design to verification team Design verification using standard industry tools for HDL checking e.g. CDC, RDC, Lint Support of the verification team in the debug of identified issues Assist with silicon bring up and debug.
