STAFF SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to join the innovative and multi‑award‑winning team that has developed the RF data converter sub‑system, including direct‑RF digital signal processing, around which Xilinx Zync® Ultrascale+™ RFSoC is built. As part of the Analog and Digital‑RF design group you will be working on leading‑edge digital communications developments in an advanced mixed‑signal environment using the latest 7nm and 16nm FinFET CMOS processes. The role requires an experienced digital design engineer to work on all aspects of the front‑end digital design flow including architecture specification and RTL design and optimisation, as well as some verification and synthesis. STAFF SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER The AMD SerDes team in Ireland are hiring for an MTS level Analog Circuit Design Engineer to work on SerDes products up to 200+Gbps on the latest CMOS FinFET nodes. The AMD team have extensive experience in the design of circuits for the high speed transmission and recovery of data over wired links, including High-speed (100GSps+) data Converters for signal recovery(ADC) and transmit signal conditioning(DAC) Continuous Time Equalisers with programmable gain and B/W up to 60+GHz Wide-range, low-noise PLLs operating up to 20+GHz Injection Locked Oscillators for multi-phase clock generation High speed clock distribution and correction circuits Custom Digital circuits for data serialisation High-speed wired channel termination and driver circuits The successful candidate will work with a world class team in the development of SerDes solutions to facilitate the future connectivity of AMD CPU , GPU and FPGA products. THE ROLE: The role requires the development of high-speed and high-performance analog circuits at the lowest power possible. The candidate would be expected to have extensive experience in the design and verification of analog circuits and systems, and be familiar with layout floor-planning, layout dependent effects and post-layout verification. The Global Trade Compliance Specialist will provide support to ensure that AMD operations in Europe comply with all applicable US, EU, and national export controls in each country it has operations, together with customs compliance at all points of entry in EU. THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support its global privacy program, with a primary focus on European operations. This role reports to the Assistant General Counsel – Privacy. The Senior Corporate Counsel serves as a key legal advisor on European privacy and data protection matters across AMD’s business, products and internal operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in European data protection regulations, experience advising a global technology company and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance. THE PERSON: In‑house experience at a fast‑paced global company, preferably in the technology sector. Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling a privacy program across European operations. Deep knowledge of GDPR and other European privacy frameworks. Demonstrated experience advising on cross‑border data transfers and international data governance. Familiarity with U.S. privacy concepts and experience coordinating with U.S‑based legal teams. Ability to provide pragmatic, risk‑based legal advice to business stakeholders and drive intra‑company and cross‑functional initiatives. Strong drafting, communication and collaboration skills. Creative problem‑solver with a pragmatic mindset, a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide legal advice on European privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR, ePrivacy and relevant Member State laws. Act as a primary point of contact for European privacy issues, supporting business teams with clear, pragmatic guidance on compliance obligations and risk mitigation. Advise on privacy‑by‑design and privacy‑by‑default considerations for products, services, AI‑enabled technologies and internal initiatives. Support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), privacy risk assessments and related reviews for processing activities. Contribute to global privacy governance by drafting, reviewing and maintaining privacy policies, internal guidance, procedures and training materials applicable to Europe. Partner with information security and incident response teams on data incident preparedness and response, including breach assessment and notification obligations. Advise on international data transfers involving European personal data, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses and Transfer Impact Assessments. Review, draft and negotiate privacy and data protection provisions in commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, cloud and technology agreements. Monitor and assess legislative, regulatory and enforcement developments across Europe and communicate relevant impacts to internal stakeholders. Coordinate closely with U.S.-based and other global legal teams to support consistent, scalable privacy compliance while addressing European requirements. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of legal experience, including significant experience in privacy and data protection law. Experience in the technology and semiconductor industry. ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degree (or equivalent) from a reputed institution. License to practice law (or in‑house equivalent) in relevant jurisdiction.
