    We are seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician to work in a state-of-the-art preparation centre, carrying out cosmetic and accident damage repairs on various vehicle makes and models. The role involves working with a variety of hand and power tools, fabricating part panels, and applying primers and paint finishes as per manufacturer's instructions. You will be responsible for prepping and polishing, minor filler and paint work, removing and refitting body panels and trim components, and other general bodyshop tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** • Working with specialized hand and power tools • Fabrication of part panels and shaping sheet metal • Application of primers and paint finishes • Prepping and polishing, minor filler and paint work • Removing and refitting body panels and trim components • Other general bodyshop tasks **Requirements:** • Experience working in a similar environment is advantageous • FETAC or City & Guilds Qualification (Irish based qualifications or equivalent evidence of similar in Europe) would be advantageous but not essential • Ability to work in a team • Ability to work on own initiative • Interested in working in a fast-paced environment • Attention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently delivered • Continuous improvement mindset **Skills:** • Experience in a similar role is advantageous • Ability to work on own initiative • Ability to work as part of a team

    Job Title: Receptionist (Part-time) Responsible to: Sales Brand Manager Main Purpose of Job: We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist within Connolly Motor Group, Volkswagen Ballina. The successful candidate will be required to work 2 to 3 days a week. The days may be flexible for the suitable candidate. The role: The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the team, to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. This will require you to be the face of the Group, welcoming customers, suppliers and visitors to our showroom. The role involves working closely with the Sales, Services and Parts teams.     Job Title: Bodyshop Technician Responsible to: Bodyshop Manager Main Purpose of Job: Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a Bodyshop Technician to join the Connolly Motor Group, within the Bodyshop team at Volkswagen Ballina. The role : Working in one of our state of the art preparation centres on various make and model of vehicles, you will have the opportunity to develop, grow and perfect your craft. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of cosmetic and accident damage repairs, including prepping & polishing, minor filler and paint work, removing and refitting body panels and trim components and other general bodyshop tasks. Role Responsibilities: Working with a variety of specialised hand and power tools Fabrication of part panels and shaping sheet metal on a workbench themselves before welding it into place. Application of primers such as etch primer, filler primer and surface primers. Spray painting and preparing new or repaired panels as per manufacturer’s instructions. Paint finishing and polishing as per manufacturer’s instructions. Demonstrate good work practices including time keeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness The person: Skills and Competencies: Experience working in a similar environment is advantageous but full training will be provided FETAC or City & Guilds Qualification (Irish based qualifications or equivalent evidence of similar in Europe) would be advantageous but not essential Ability to work in a team Ability to work on own initiative Interested in working in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently delivered Continuous improvement mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
