  • We are hiring! Circet Ireland's Power Division are looking for an experienced Line Worker to join our growing team. Main Purpose: The Line Worker will be a dedicated member of the Project Team, adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The role is to carry out maintenance and renewal of the overhead line equipment and associated power supply systems to meet the needs and requirements of the division. The linesperson must co-operate with the PICW (Person in Charge of Work) and the Site Supervisor and observe all precautions indicated by them; they must carry out all his/her instructions precisely. Main Duties: To ensure all works are in compliance with current/future health and safety legislation, relevant standards, and procedures. Interfacing with chargehand and site supervision and customer representatives. Interfacing with client representatives and customers. To ensure all allocated work pack documentation is completed correctly, recorded, and submitted within the relevant time scales. Provide technical information that is within their roles and responsibilities. Ensure near misses and good catches are reported in a timely manner. Work at height on poles and towers in a safe and professional manner, utilising MEWP's when required. Carry out maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of Overhead lines as directed. Utilise all equipment necessary for working on Overhead lines network as detailed in the OHL manual. Be responsible when carrying out works on the customer's property. Other duties as assigned. Experience, Skills and Knowledge: Current driver's licence Current ESB Authorisation Current IPAF accreditation Pole Top Rescue certificate Manual Handling certificate City in Guilds Linesman qualification or equivalent Minimum of four years proven experience in the role. Candidates must have previous experience of working on Power Network Projects. As Quantity Surveyor , you will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in implementing commercial reporting systems and procedures to maximise commercial benefits of all responsible contracts, with particular focus on risk mitigation, pricing of variations processes, detailed cost management, and day-to-day management of contracts or a portfolio of contracts. Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor include: Commercial functions of various work packages including Design, Test & Commission, Materials, Telecoms, Electrification, Power, Plant. Work with the project delivery teams responsible for the work packages / project change control and management Liaise with Project / Contracts Managers to collate information on the projects. Work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control. Prepare internal and external commercial reports. Establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders. Circet Ireland's Power Division are looking for an experienced Training Instructor , with knowledge of Overhead Power Lines , Civils, Cabling & Poling activities on Power Infrastructure and Maintenance contracts, to join our growing team. The role will involve performing all the Training, Assessment and Certification of our Overhead Power Line Workers from Trainee level up to advanced levels. Travel between our state-of-the-art Training Academy in Dublin and Power Division offices in Roscrea and Roscommon will be required, so a Full Drivers Licence is needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Promote and encourage a culture that aligns with and actively supports company values. Perform all training, assessment and certification of OHL (Overhead Lines) Training for the business. Train, assess and verify construction activities such as plant and vocational qualifications. Work in conjunction with the Contract Teams & Head of Training to develop added value training solutions in support of business needs now and in the future. On the back of an ever-increasing workload, Circet are looking for an experienced Civils & Cabling Supervisor with knowledge of civils and subducting activities on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts across Cork. As Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out in progress and retrospective site audits whilst checking and reporting compliance levels for both the company and client. You will coach and mentor field operatives to improve quality, compliance and safety at civils stage and activations, and to optimise customer KPI measures. Responsibilities as Civils Front Line Manager include: Carry out joint site meetings with client and other relevant stakeholders. Survey and programme work streams for supply chain. Provide updates and reports on a regular basis to the works control and noticing departments. Complete material sample audits where required. Carry out daily toolbox audits and safety audits with both direct staff and sub-contractors. Carry out in-progress audits and coach sub-contractors on site. Manage daily targets for sample inspections. Investigate jobs and assign responsible operatives for commercial reporting. Ensure all permit and noticing conditions are being met on site. Keep accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered. Report daily to your line manager of outputs, problems, issues. Carry out other duties as requested by the line manager.     We are hiring! Circet Ireland are looking for a Network Planner to join our growing team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This role is office based in our Letterkenny offices and will involve the planning and design of FTTP networks across Ireland and internationally. Forming part of the Circet planning team, you will operate a Network Documentation System that includes passive network elements. You will have key involvement in FTTX network modelling including planning civil, fibre routes, producing maps and drawings, and providing CAD/GIS and mapping support to staff members and clients. You will be required to assess fibre cable lengths and provide cabling splicing and termination schedules. Responsibilities: Initial fundamental design of fibre Passive Optical Networks (PONS) / FPA using multiple different systems / or Circet design tools. The planning & design of the FTTX networks from the Point of Presence to the premise on the project will involve (but is not limited to): Creation of Low-level and High-Level Designs. Validation and revalidation of planned fibre routes, identifying suitable demarcation points and constraints such as but not limited to: D-Poles, low wires, chamber and pole viability, Connectorised Block terminal locations, splice locations, duct congestion, new pole locations, validation of homes passed. Completion of Bill of Materials/Bill of Quantities. Completion of Design Risk Assessments. Completion of construction packs. Ensure design meets the clients architectural and technical requirements and standards. Status reporting and providing project updates. Data analysis and / or file comparison.
