    We are hiring! Circet is looking for Overhead Line Workers to join our team. The power linesperson will be a dedicated member of the project team, adhering to procedures, focusing on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The role is to carry out maintenance and renewal of the overhead line equipment and associated power supply systems to meet the needs and requirements of the division. The linesmen must co-operate with the chargehand and site supervisor and observe all precautions indicated by them, and must carry out all instructions precisely. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: To ensure all works are in compliance with current/future health and safety legislation, relevant standards and procedures. Interfacing with chargehand and site supervision and customer representatives. Interfacing with client representatives and customers. To ensure all allocated work pack documentation is completed correctly, recorded and submitted within the relevant time scales. Provide technical information that is within their roles and responsibilities. Ensure near miss and good catches are reported in a timely manner. Work at height on poles and towers in a safe and professional manner, utilising MEWPs when required. Carry out maintenance, repair and refurbishment of overhead lines as directed. Utilise all equipment necessary for working on overhead lines network as detailed in the OHL manual. Be responsible when carrying out works on the customer's property. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Requirements: Current driver’s licence. Current NPG Authorisation. Current IPAF accreditation. Pole/Tower Rescue certificate. Manual Handling certificate. City & Guilds Linesperson qualification or equivalent. Minimum of four years proven experience in the role. A strong understanding of project health and safety requirements. High attention to detail. Basic customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work within a dynamic team setting and provide results. Circet Irelands Power division are looking for an experienced Project Manager with knowledge of overhead lines, civils and cabling activities on power infrastructure new build and maintenance contracts. Reporting to the contracts Manager, your role as Project Manager is to lead all production and associated functions of our projects on and off site. This includes pro-actively liaising with both the delivery teams and direct with our sub-contractors and suppliers. Responsibilities as Project Manager include Drive and manage a project that delivers the objectives required to meet or exceed the KPI targets. Provide direction and lead your project team - inclusive of sub-contractors. Ensure that the project is fully compliant with the local authority and statutory provisions for the administration of CDM and Streetworks legislations. Determine the resource requirements for the completion of all works throughout the project term. Manage productivity, assign roles, tasks and responsibilities required for the successful completion of the project work in accordance with planning, specifications and requirements. Take ownership of the commercial aspects of the contract / project and ensure the project does not go into financial breach. Identify ways to reduce costs and improve performance. Health & Safety Obligations Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures. Ensure that the programmes for the contracts are successfully delivered in a Safe, Quality and On Time Manner. Ensure that a 'Right First Time' culture is adopted and developed throughout the business. Drive compliance to any regulatory measures that may apply to the works and operations that Circet undertake. Ensure that all contracts achieve turnover and profitability by maximising efficiency and minimising cost of failure. Manage Client relationships within the client organisations across all areas. Sponsor new ways of working which would improve delivery and service then support any activities being undertaken to implement change. Skills & Experience required CDM trained. IOSHH / NEBOSH qualified (desirable) Sound knowledge of all HSEQ regulations. Good communication, people management and leadership skills. Relevant or similar experience within the power sector.
