  • JOB DESCRIPTION NO VISA SPONSORSHIP Senior Social Care Worker – Disability residential service – Co.Meath– Permanent full time Salary: €43,000 Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Care Worker seeking a rewarding career in a Nationwide Disability residential service? Join our passionate team across Meath providing comprehensive care for vulnerable adults and children. Key Responsibilities: The primary objective of this post is to provide care and support through a person‑centred approach which meets the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents, both adults and children with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism. To act as a key worker for named Resident where appropriate. Provide support to residents with their daily plan Provide support to residents with their individual goals and education. Provide support to residents with their living skills, eg. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, family visits etc. Social Care Workers are part of the on‑floor duty team and may also be responsible for co‑ordination of the shift whilst on duty and for the supervision of other staff under his/her direction. The Social Care Worker will report to the person in charge and be required to work collaboratively as part of a Multi‑Disciplinary Team in service delivery to residents. Requirements: Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU. Knowledge of quality assurance practice and their application to service provision Have experience working in a residential, respite or day service setting with persons with an intellectual disability.
