Overview
Location: Galway (although the advert lists Dublin, which is the main depot servicing all of Ireland).
Hours: 40 hours per week, over 5 days.
Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with customers is crucial to our success.
In this role you will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bring sunshine to our customers’ doors, no matter what the weather is doing. You will work inside a coldstore operating at –20 °C; protective clothing, warm breaks and hot drinks will be provided.
You will work as part of a wider team, supporting the office and picking teams. Movement between teams provides flexibility, job satisfaction, personal development and a broader understanding of the business.

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK’s largest ready‑meal supplier, cooking and delivering over 330 different delicious frozen ready meals across the UK primarily to the elderly, their family members and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
Pick orders within the coldstore.
Use our app to update customers on deliveries.
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Undertake pre‑shift inspection of your van.
Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
Clean and refuel your van as needed.
Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
Ensure customer confidentiality.
Help the office team and picking team when required.
Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday.
Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers.
About you – Essential qualifications
Experience within a customer‑service‑based role.
Full manual driving licence.
Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
Evidence of work stability.
Basic secondary education.
About you – Desirable qualifications
Experience of multi‑drop delivery role.
Experience within a care‑based role.
Warehouse experience.
Health & safety awareness.
Personal Qualities
Friendly, approachable and reliable.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Good attendance and timekeeping.
You must have held a manual driving licence for at least 2 years.
