Within this role you will conduct market research, product tests and evaluations to determine what accessory products are featured in our stores and the company website, as well as sourcing new and reviewing existing goods to ensure our products remain at the highest quality. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Liaising with existing suppliers and negotiating contracts. Sourcing and building relations with new suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, margin, exclusivity, and delivery terms. Sourcing and selecting new products. This may include travel to national and international trade fairs and events. Having ownership of the critical path from concept through to arrival in store/online, ensuring speed to market. Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products. Analysing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying patterns. Recommending clearance sales and varying delivery schedules to help control stock levels. Presenting new ranges to company directors. Working with a wider team for own brand product ranges. Liaising with the companys Regional Visual Merchandising Manager in planning store layouts to promote key lines. Working with the Creative and Online Sales department in order to present sales promotions. Monitoring the stock quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management. Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to analyse performance and make improvements. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in Buying, preferably in the luxury retail industry. The candidate must have experience in a senior warehouse role with a proven track record. This role is Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 1:00am. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong, capable leadership and clear direction to all team members, including all support functions. Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
