As Senior Applied Scientist at Fresco, you will: Propose and develop machine learning models to solve key problems in the area of Connected Cooking and Recipe Generation, Adaptation and Understanding.
Work as a member of Fresco's Core AI Team, developing products for Fresco’s partners and customers.
Ensure data quality throughout data products including data quality measurement and sourcing and creating ground truth datasets.
Have deep knowledge in standard machine learning / deep learning libraries and frameworks such as Tensorflow/TFX, Keras, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
Have experience with Large Language Models and Transformer-based model architectures, particularly open source LLM model families such as Llama and BERT.
Apply best practices and robust methodologies for model design, training, evaluation and tuning.
Have the ability to communicate to stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, and have excellent written and presentation skills.
Balance bias to action and speed of delivery with quality of work and attention to detail.
See the big picture and apply a holistic problem-solving approach to your work.
Have experience with CI/CD, Git, AWS services such as Sagemaker, S3, EC2.
A love of food and interest in IoT is an advantage.
Your experience: 3+ years delivering real-world consumer-facing machine learning products and services.
A solid foundation in statistics and machine learning / deep learning for one or more of Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, Machine Translation. A PhD or MSc in this area could be helpful, but equivalent industry experience is also considered.
Experience in multilingual NLP is a plus.
Expectations: In 3 months, you will have contributed to the design and development of Fresco's next generation of AI Recipe capabilities.
In 6 months, you will have contributed to the delivery of consumer-grade AI services for Fresco's global connected cooking markets.
