Senior Civil Engineer Job Requirements: Manage and lead a team Drive the pace of the project and plan the work in the field Takes ownership for ensuring that HSQE protocols are adhered to on sites at all times Maintains quality control procedures at all times You will liaise with the Project Manager on day-to-day basis. Maintain and complete comprehensive site records, in line with company procedures Flags any issues with the Contract Management Team, which have the potential to have an impact on the effective delivery of the project - I.e. materials, works schedules, resources, H&S matters or issues relating to cost or delivery schedule Manage and monitor all setting out activities on the Project Coordinates and priorities the sequence of activities on site Follows the Project Plan as a means of ensuring that work is carried out on time and on budget Senior Civil Engineer Job Specification: 5 years+ experience. Setting out experience. Civil Engineer Degree. Highly organised and motivated Competent on Microsoft Office. Full driving license. Role overview In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operational management of the Kilrush branch in Co Clare, ensuring smooth, efficient, and commercially successful operations. Your responsibilities include managing sales performance, inventory control, merchandising standards, and all aspects of health & safety compliance. You will uphold and continually improve the company’s retail excellence standards and procedures, ensuring a consistently high‑quality customer and supplier experience. Working closely with the Sales Liaison Manager for your region, you will help drive overall branch performance, achieve both sales and operational targets, and optimise service delivery. This collaborative partnership supports commercial growth and ensures the continuous improvement of agri‑sector goods and services provided to customers and suppliers. Key responsibilities Analyse Sales performance of categories within the store so that targets and KPI's are met and exceed Lead, motivate and manage team while ensuring all training requirements are met Liaise Daily with Area Manager Oversee operations, complete procedures and ensure best practice Dealing with customers in person and remotely Stock control and ordering stock Advising customers and demonstrating product knowledge Quality control of products Handling cash and collecting monies due Adhering and implementing Health and Safety Dealing with purchasing groups Tele sales Qualifications and skills The role is five and half day week with Saturdays mandatory. Experience of dealing with / selling Agri products including feeds, fertilisers, coal ect would be a distinct advantage Able to demonstrate autonomy and responsiveness Passionate and enthusiastic about the products being sold! Sales focused – identifying customers needs, suggesting relevant products or services and closing sales. The ability to understand and analyse sales figures.
