About the role In line with Kerry’s commercial strategy for Europe, this role is responsible for developing sales of value‑added yeast extracts across key segments including Prepared Meals, Soups, Sauces, Dressings, Processed Meat, and Snacks. You will serve as a technical and commercial expert, supporting customers in product application, scale‑up, and troubleshooting while maximizing the value of our fermentation technologies. Key responsibilities Develop sales of yeast extract products directly with customers and through distributors to ensure strong performance. Partner with the sales team and collaborate with customers to enhance their experience and strengthen Kerry’s Taste Fermentation value proposition. Visit prospects and key customers to provide application guidance, support scale‑up processes and troubleshoot technical challenges. Identify new opportunities for broader applications aligned with the Taste Fermentation portfolio. Act as a subject‑matter expert in yeast extracts and fermentation technologies, clearly articulating where Kerry solutions add value.Build strong relationships with customer technical and commercial teams. Contribute to strategy, market mapping and key account planning based on market knowledge and competitive intelligence. Work with application teams to refine formulations and maximise use of the Kerry portfolio. Train and guide distributor partners and their sales teams on product application and promotion. Qualifications and skills Strong expertise in yeast extracts, fermentation technologies or related food ingredient domains . Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities. Ability to build customer intimacy across technical and commercial functions. Strong communicator with the ability to influence and train customers and distributors. Analytical mindset with the capability to translate market and customer insights into strategy. Able to operate effectively in a matrix environment and in a dynamic, fast‑paced commercial setting. Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related field.
