    About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Listowel manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment used within our plant, utilizing your craft qualification. Your contribution will help increase the reliability of process and utility equipment to support manufacturing requirements related to dependability, quality, safety, and environmental standards. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will collaborate with colleagues across all levels of operations and quality to identify and prioritize equipment issues. The role involves working on a shift rotation, including some overtime. Initially offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract aligned with new business, it is expected to become a permanent position. The Listowel facility processes 500 million liters of milk annually and offers a wide range of dairy products, including Proteins, Ingredients, Flavours, and Cheese Solutions, applicable across various industries such as Dairy, Bakery, Nutritional Beverages, Snacks, Confectionery, and Frozen Desserts. Key responsibilities Provide technical support to Production for machine and equipment maintenance, installation, modification, calibration, preventative maintenance (PMs), and troubleshooting. Support maintenance planning and execution of work orders, documenting all maintenance activities, upgrades, and parts used. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through repairs, upgrades, and system failure investigations. Adhere to Safety, Health & Environmental policies, performing tasks safely and responsibly. What You Might Be Doing You’ll be exposed to a variety of EHS responsibilities, including: Learning hands-on from experienced EHS professionals in real-world environments Supporting EHS managers in promoting a Safety First, Quality Always culture Conducting audits and inspections on environmental and safety systems Assisting with ISO14001, hazard identification, safety management systems, PPC permits, and waste management Building relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business Travelling to multiple locations to gain exposure to different technologies, processes, and safety systems Contributing to sustainability initiatives and environmental protection efforts Learning how to establish, track, and act on key performance indicators Qualifications You’re on track or recently completed a degree in Food Technology, Health Safety and Environment, Sustainability, Science or another related field You have a passion for the food industry You are fluent in English and ideally speak a second European language You are permanently eligible to work in Europe. You are strategic and solution-oriented, bringing energy and enthusiasm to support our dynamic business.
