Permanent Salary €70,000 – €80,000 (DOE) Overview Zenovo are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to play a key role in the design, setup, and evolution of a cloud-based software platform within the healthcare domain. This platform is being developed to support patients, operating in a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the cloud architecture as the product moves beyond its initial generation, which has been developed in partnership with an external software house. You will be building upon an existing foundation rather than starting from scratch. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architecture Take architectural ownership of an existing platform and evolve it for future releases Work closely with internal stakeholders and external software partners Ensure systems meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements typical of healthcare environments Define best practices for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring Support architectural decision-making across the software lifecycle Technical Requirements: Strong experience designing and implementing cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Proven background in systems or cloud architecture roles Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, medical devices, pharma, finance, or similar) Understanding of compliance, security, and data protection requirements Ability to xsokbrc assess and improve existing systems rather than building greenfield solutions Experience: 5–10 years’ experience in cloud architecture, systems architecture, or a closely related role Prior experience within the healthcare industry is highly desirable Additional Requirements: Must be comfortable working onsite in Galway, Ireland Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance in
