    Sales Training Manager Department: Telesales Employment Type: Permanent Location: Dublin 18 Description The Sales Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving sales capability across the organisation. The role will manage one other trainer and support both Phone Sales and Field Sales (door-to-door) teams. Our work is heavily data based; therefore, you should have a third level degree in a quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, finance / economics, or the sciences. Work experience in the industry is desired for the role with any gas and electricity pricing or trading experience being highly advantageous. You should have a good understanding of electricity and gas markets, and a desire to know and understand more about how our customers consume energy and how wholesale and retail energy markets will develop in the future. You will support the design of electricity, gas and heat tariffs for our commercial customer base. You should be able to take the lead in implementing, tracking and trading hedge strategies, along with providing best in class analysis of the markets we operate in. As we are a data driven company, Ideally, you should have an understanding, or the ability to gain an understanding of tools used to store, query and process databases. Additionally, you will be involved in supporting customers in their transition to renewable energy. Key Responsibilities The Role The role requires close co-operation with our Forward Trading, Finance and Commercial sales teams. It will focus primarily on two areas: Commercially Focused: Support the production of commercial electricity, gas and heat prices and tariffs Preparation of price and information for tenders/quotes for larger customers Track prices offered and benchmark Conduct competitor analysis and help us understand the market we operate in Critique and evaluate competitor offerings, use these findings to better serve our existing commercial customers and aid in the expansion and diversity of our customer base.
