  • Onboarding & Procurement Support Officer Join to apply for the Onboarding & Procurement Support Officer role at Windward Management Limited . Location: Shannon Airport Authority, Terminal Building, Shannon Airport, Shannon. Job Description: Windward Purchasing is looking for an Onboarding & Procurement Support Officer to play a critical role in guiding new hotel clients through the entire onboarding journey to Windward’s procurement services. You will act as the client’s trusted advisor, monitor their progress, identify opportunities for optimisation, analyze purchasing / consumption data, and proactively propose value‑adds. This role may require occasional travel to client hotel sites for onsite training or workshops. Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding – Serve as the primary point‑of‑contact from contract signing through “go‑live,” work hand‑in‑hand with Business Development and liaise with all functions in the business. Develop and execute onboarding plans, coordinate cross‑functional resources, and assist clients with setup of the procurement platform (Access Procure Wizard). Conduct kick‑off sessions, training workshops, monitor client progress, and ensure milestones are met. Maintain data integrity, help clients upload / migrate purchasing history, and liaise with supplier teams to validate contracts and pricing. Client Success & Retention – Maintain a portfolio of onboarded clients, engage in regular check‑ins, monitor platform usage, and build value cases for upsell. Selling renewal conversations, capturing best practices, and presenting findings to client management. Purchasing / Consumption Analysis – Use procurement / transaction data to generate reports, analyze consumption patterns, and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Process Improvement – Capture feedback, refine onboarding and success processes, collaborate on workflows, and contribute to customer enablement assets. Stay current on hospitality procurement trends and supply‑chain challenges. About The Role This role requires strong project management, quantitative / analytical skills, a customer‑centric mindset, and problem‑solving ability. Experience with client onboarding, success, or implementation in a B2B / SaaS context is essential. Key Skills & Experience Essential Experience in client onboarding, client success, account management or implementation roles. Strong project management skills – able to manage multiple clients and cross‑functional dependencies. Quantitative / analytical skills – comfortable with procurement or financial data, spreadsheets, dashboards. Customer‑centric mindset with strong interpersonal skills. Problem solver who anticipates roadblocks, escalates appropriately, and removes barriers. Desirable / Preferred Experience or understanding of hospitality / hotel operations, F&B procurement, supply chain. Experience working with procurement / e‑Procurement systems or platforms. Familiarity with procurement analytics, cost benchmarking, category management. Exposure to supplier negotiation, contract terms, or vendor management. Experience with change management or adoption in clients. Hotel experience and knowledge of Procure Wizard – full training will be provided. The successful candidate reports to the Group Human Resources Director and collaborates closely with HR Managers and General Managers to deliver workforce planning, recruitment excellence and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen our company culture and support long‑term business objectives. Key responsibilities include sourcing senior‑level roles across the group, leading employer branding, succession planning and employee engagement projects, and making a significant impact within a dynamic and growing hotel management group. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development and implementation of talent acquisition and engagement strategies across the Group. Lead candidate sourcing and pipelining for key, senior‑level roles across the group. Partner with HR Managers to assess workforce needs including retention initiatives, staff engagement, mentoring, workforce planning and succession planning for future leaders. Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities in Ireland and Europe to attract top talent, representing the Group at relevant career fairs and open days. Audit and monitor compliance of recruitment, selection and appointment practices, recommending and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Analyse engagement and retention data, including exit interview feedback, to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Design and deliver training and workshops for Managers to enhance their capabilities in recruitment, selection, and retention practices. Requirements At least 3 years’ experience in a Talent Management role that has involved recruitment, talent sourcing, systems management and implementation, staff engagement, mentoring and workforce planning. Experience managing systems and integrations (Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, HR Systems). Experience in employer branding strategy and projects. Background in sourcing senior‑level candidates for key roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, etc. Understanding or experience of working in high‑volume, high‑turnover industries such as hospitality, retail or healthcare. Experience in staff engagement initiatives. Experience managing and collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations. A record of delivering change through strong interpersonal relationships. A clear knowledge and understanding of Human Resource policies and retention processes and initiatives.
