The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesto join our growing wholesale business in the renewable energy sector. Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for driving sales, building long-term customer relationships, and introducing innovative solar products to the Irish market. This is a dynamic role where youll be at the forefront of emerging technologies while also supporting the management of our Sales Office to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve ambitious growth targets. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow sales of our product range to trade customers across Ireland. Meet and exceed agreed sales targets, implementing effective sales strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers while identifying new business opportunities. Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support. Manage face-to-face sales, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. Upsell products and services, negotiate contracts, and support credit management. Collaborate with the internal team to optimise sales performance and drive business growth. Desired Skills & Requirements Extensive sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in the solar sector; technical knowledge of renewable energy would be highly advantageous Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets. While knowledge of solar equipment and wholesale trade channels is an advantage, it is not essential full training will be provided. Ability to work independently, manage accounts, and deliver weekly sales plans. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong ambition for personal and professional growth. Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems. Full driving licence. Preferred: Experience managing large accounts and developing new sales channels. Solid understanding of financial principles, including cost-benefit analysis.
