    Overview As a Manufacturing Operator within the Chemistry Consumables Department, you will be responsible for manufacturing the highest quality of our products for Pharmaceutical and Environmental customers worldwide. The Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) devices are used as a crude sample cleanup in sample preparation prior to being injected onto a column, which separates out the components within the sample based on their chemical properties. We are strongly focused on delivering high quality products to our customers. This role operates on a two‑shift cycle (day and evening shifts) on a rotating basis.   • Senior Manager, Supply Chain  

    - Wexford

    Overview This role is a key leadership position in Supply Chain and is a member of the Waters Wexford Senior Leadership team with specific responsibility for leading and developing the Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Trade and Logistic functions while also supporting the strategic development of the site. The position provides leadership & direction to the Supply Chain team in all aspects of the function(s) providing strategic & tactical direction that secures and sustains supply continuity within applicable good manufacturing practice regulations and compliance to ISO9001 and ISO13485 as applicable. The position is responsible and accountable for applying the Global Supply Chain planning standards to the local execution level. Further, the role will partner with Global Procurement to enhance supplier performance and drive supply assurance into the network. Cost saving initiatives and improvement projects in the areas of freight, material spend, working capital investment and optimized use of the planning system are critical accountabilities for the role. Responsibilities Leadership & Talent Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing purchasing, planning, customs and logistics team, fostering a culture of focus, urgency, accountability and continuous improvement. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute supply chain strategies aligned with Waters’ global operational excellence and transformation and global supply chain goals. Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Support monthly IBP processes and weekly Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) to synchronize demand and supply signals across Waters. Operational Excellence: Drive initiatives to optimize inventory, reduce costs, enhance productivity, reduce excess & obsolete stock, and enhance service levels. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Finance, and Operational Excellence teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans. Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to trade compliance, sustainability standards, and Waters’ Supplier Code of Conduct. Digital Transformation: Champion ERP/MRP enhancements and supply transparency tools to enable data-driven decision-making. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Business Studies or equivalent primary degree, APICS/ASCM Certified Experience: Minimum 7-10 years Industry work experience in a high volume/complexity ISO 9001, ISO13485 or GMP, Operational Excellence/Lean environment, with at least 3 years at a senior management level. Strong operational skills and technical skills. Strong SAP expertise. A proven track record of people management/leadership, project management and Supplier Management is essential. Demonstrated experience of negotiation and cost saving projects required. Knowledge of customs / trade compliance. Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, organisational, presentation and communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Strong technical / supply chain ability. Be self-motivated and have excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with effective planning and execution rigor.
