  • MRF Supervisor  

    - Dublin

    Day-to-day supervision of the Green Recycling MRF, acting as a direct reporting line for all personnel working in the MRF. Responsibilities Understand the key drivers to improving performance at the MRF and implement best practice to maximise production and efficient operation of the MRF and yard. In conjunction with the MRF Manager and direct reports; ensure that work rotas for processing and MRF operatives are scheduled to ensure that logistics, operational and annual leave needs are met. Ensure that the MRF operates in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible, by actively supervising day-to-day operations including staff numbers, agency staff, hours worked, processes and material handling, production versus targets, fuel usage and trends, 5S implementation, and all other relevant processes and activities. Ensuring there is sufficient quantities and quality of feedstock, so that incoming loads are suitable for processing, with delivery sources informed straight away regarding contamination issues and pricing to be amended. Ensure that waste materials handling, separation and delivery to appropriate outlets are conducted in an efficient and compliant manner (including pre-sorting by loading machine operators). Ensure that all revenue and cost control measures relevant to the MRF are fully adhered to, including weighbridge traffic and ensuring waste received matches how it was categorised, access to the site, diesel access and usage, etc. Responsibility for ensuring a maintenance program is acted upon, updated as necessary, and operated for all fixed and mobile plant within the MRF. Applies to cleaning and maintenance activities undertaken daily by MRF operatives, and well as working with maintenance personnel regarding plant PM activities. Ensure all personnel are fully trained for their role and that all work completed is in accordance with Health and safety guidelines and practices. Ensure that all health and safety procedures and requirements relevant to the MRF and yard are fully adhered to. Any resultant staff issues to be dealt with through the relevant processes. As required; assist with undertaking and completing related operational activities as requested. Requirements Supervisory experience of production or waste management/processing facility.   • MRF Manager  

    - Dublin

    Day-to-day management of the Green Recycling MRF, acting as a direct reporting line for all personnel working in the MRF. Responsible for ensuring that all waste processing plant and equipment within the MRF is functioning efficiently, well maintained, and delivers budgeted results. Responsibilities Identify and implement best practice to maximise production and efficient operation of the MRF. Understand the key drivers to improving performance at the site. Review daily, weekly and monthly KPIs against target, and implement plans with the team to ensure maximum performance. In conjunction with direct reports; ensure that work rotas for processing and MRF operatives are scheduled to ensure that logistics, operational and annual leave needs are met. Ensure that the MRF operates in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible, by actively supervising day-to-day operations including staff numbers, agency staff, hours worked, processes and material handling, production versus targets, fuel usage and trends, 5S implementation, and all other relevant processes and activities. Ensuring there is sufficient quantities and quality of feedstock, so that incoming loads are suitable for processing, with delivery sources informed straight away regarding contamination issues and pricing to be amended. Ensure that waste materials handling, separation and delivery to appropriate outlets are conducted in an efficient and compliant manner (including pre-sorting by loading machine operators). Ensure stock management procedures for spare parts are developed and implemented. Ensure all personnel are fully trained for their role and that all work completed is in accordance with Health and safety guidelines and practices. Ensure that all health and safety procedures and requirements relevant to the MRF and yard are fully adhered to. Any resultant staff issues to be dealt with through the relevant processes. As required; assist with undertaking and completing related operational activities as requested. Provide annual leave cover for direct reports as required. Requirements Management experience of production or waste management/processing facility. Experience of managing in a labour intensive, multi-shift environment.
