LV Switchgear Technical Project Manager The LV Switchgear Technical R&D Project Manager leads the design, development, verification, and certification of new or enhanced low‑voltage assemblies (up to 1000V AC/1500V DC). They manage the technical roadmap, from initial design concepts to final prototype testing, ensuring compliance with IEC 61439 and ensuring manufacturing readiness. Key Responsibilities Design & R&D Management: Lead R&D projects for LV switchgear panels, enclosures, and busbar systems, focusing on optimized thermal performance, short‑circuit withstand, and cost‑effective construction. IEC 61439 Compliance & Verification: Ensure all designs comply with IEC 61439‑1 & 2 (General rules and Power switchgear/controlgear assemblies). Prototype Testing & Validation: Oversee prototype testing, including Type Tests (temperature rise, short‑circuit, IP rating, IK rating) and routine testing protocols for new products.
