HSE Officer Location: Clondalkin, Dublin Duration: Permanent Overview of the role We are seeking a highly motivated and safety conscious individual to fill the HSE Officer position on our black utilities hard services maintenance and calibrations contract for a leading data centre operator. The HSE Officer will ensure the highest standards of Environmental, Health and Safety practices for Veolia's team on site, and will work closely with our client to ensure compliance with the client specific HSE requirements. He/she will develop robust internal audits of the HSE management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and work with assigned direct and indirect reports. He/she will also facilitate local compliance with the Incident/Accident management system and evaluate and promote a positive safety culture within the Veolia team that also reflects both Veolia and client safety initiatives. Day to Day Role Ensure the highest standards of Environmental, Health and Safety practices for Veolia's team on site. Support the application of Veolia's Minimum Requirements as relevant Coordinate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities in the operating unit to ensure sustained and continuous improvement in HSE compliance. Facilitate local compliance with both Veolia's and the client's Incident/Accident management systems; investigate and / or support operations teams with incident / accident investigations. Ensure any incident learnings are communicated across the business and the wider site network Maintain and apply all relevant Veolia and client HSE policies, procedures and systems; Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws Ensure wellbeing of all Veolia staff on site in accordance with the policies and regulations. Monitor and collaborate with contractor / suppliers working on site the ensure they adhere to Veolia and/or client procedures and relevant legislation Ensure training and re-training of staff is managed in compliance with both local client and Veolia requirements and maintain a site-specific training matrix Monitor and audit compliance with local Permit issuing requirements Deal with all other HSE matters arising. Construction Site Manager Location: Cavan Area Duration: Permanent Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Overview of the role This is a Construction Site Manager within the Water/Waste Water Industry Build Projects leading the construction team and subcontractors on site and will have the responsibility to put H&S of site personnel at the top of the agenda. The role will interact with the following departments: Veolia Design and Project Management Teams, Client, Contractors and sub-contractors. Project Engineer (Water) Location: Co Kilkenny & Midlands (Westmeath, Longford and Roscommon) Duration: Permanent Work Hours/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Overview of the Role: The successful candidate will work with the Project Manager in coordinating the process/mechanical/civil/structural/electrical work associated with various Water and Wastewater Treatment contracts, nationwide, with varying complexity, in both municipal and industrial sectors. The Project Engineer will have responsibility for assisting in the design development of the water and wastewater treatment contracts from early design /concept stage through to detailed design stage and onto delivery stage. Coordinating with our internal design departments (mechanical, electrical, process & automation), our sub-consultants (civil, structural, ecological etc) and client liaison during the entire design development process. Undertaking design tasks. Assisting in the preparation of delivery documentation for client submissions including technical submissions, managing sub-consultant submissions (incl planning), preparing regulatory Health & Safety documentation, detailed design packages, tendering documentation and construction design packages. During delivery stage the Project Engineer will liaise with design teams and suppliers, manage subcontractors, installation personnel and commissioning teams to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Ensure, all equipment is sized, procured, delivered, installed, tested and ultimately commissioned in accordance with contractual requirements. Site Administrator Location: Clondalkin, Dublin Duration: Permanent 39 hours per week Overview of the Role: The Site Administrator and will be part of the Veolia site team on the client's site in Clondalkin. He/she will liaise with the site team, client engineering, equipment vendors and service providers to provide support of utilities plant and equipment within the contract scope, and that equipment is following all regulatory, statutory and client corporate requirements. Day to Day of the Role: Creating and issuing of PO's on Workday System and liaison with suppliers / vendors regarding accounts queries. All administrative work associated with the day to day running of the business for the Veolia Energy Team e.g scheduling meetings, ordering stationery, arranging couriers etc. Liaison with Veolia Finance Team on monthly billing for Client. Arranging all contractor and visitor passes on Client systems and Security Requisition PPE and safety equipment as requested. Maintain the onsite stock of PPE for the department and track the costs associated with this. Monthly checks of First aid kits and defibs on Site. Ensuring all Veolia Energy Team Training is kept up to date and booking relevant training courses when certificates lapse. Co-ordination of weekly and monthly communication meetings for the Veolia site team. This includes the management of external service suppliers and professional staff as required to support equipment calibrations. To ensure the successful calibration of all utility instrumentation. Ensure that all calibration deviations are handled and escalated as per client site procedures. To coordinate with the planning departments, area supervisors and service providers to ensure calibrations are scheduled and performed within required intervals and with minimal equipment down time. To ensure an accurate instrument register is maintained and all relevant data is entered on the calibration management system. This must be audited on a regular basis. To respond to technical queries related to the performance of and calibration of instrumentation Carry out fault-finding on any instrument within the utility areas Report instrumentation status to the Maintenance and Calibration Lead, Client Utilities Manager or representatives as necessary. Ensure that all necessary spares and consumables are available. Any other activities as directed by the Area Contract Manager.
