We are proud of our brands and the roles they play in Irish life. We are looking for a National Key Account Manager to join our Commercial Team. What We are Looking For…. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the revenue, margin and profitability for the assigned customer to you, working closely with the Customer Director. To drive, own, manage and cultivate Valeo Foods Ireland brands via strong customer relationships, key account relationships, utilizing internal personnel & structures to support growth within your channels. What you will do... Demonstrate ownership of your Customer account working closely with your Customer Director to ensure sustained growth within assigned Customer account. Full P&L responsibility for your customer account. Ensure full visibility and consistent availability of all SKUs within the designated customer account. Secure new product listings through effective negotiation. Execute product launches at the customer level to ensure successful market entry. Take ownership of the retail environment, coordinating merchandising support and field sales communication in collaboration with Sales management and Field Sales team. Plan and manage customer-specific price increases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to identify and resolve key business challenges and project work. Drive customer growth by leveraging marketing and category management insights. Build, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships. Handle customer inquiries and manage DSO/deductions in line with established policies and terms. The Role This role is pivotal in driving the next phase of Valeo Foods Ireland’s supply chain evolution. Following the recent implementation of new planning software the team and function are now established. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning team and function, while also leading the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across the business ensuring a structured, sustainable, and cross-functional planning process. What You Will Do S&OP Leadership Lead the implementation of S&OP across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between supply chain, commercial, finance, and category functions. Lead the end-to-end planning cycle, ensuring alignment across Demand Planning, Supply & Production Planning, and Executive S&OP. Connect operational and financial forecasts to support decision-making and business performance. Foster cross-functional collaboration to align sales and operations, enhance customer-driven forecasting, and connect operational plans with financial objectives through continuous S&OP improvement. Demand Planning & Forecasting Own and evolve the Demand Planning strategy, embedding best-in-class processes and tools. Manage and develop the Demand Planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Formalize and document existing demand planning processes to ensure consistency and reduce knowledge risk. Develop and execute a knowledge transfer plan to capture critical team expertise and ensure continuity. Maintain and enhance the 18-month rolling forecast in partnership with the commercial team, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to market dynamics. Drive internal and external forecast review forums, ensuring robust dialogue and decision-making. Oversee the generation and analysis of demand planning reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Present demand plans and forecasting insights to internal and external stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making. Leadership & Strategic Contribution Lead and develop a high-performing Demand Planning team, fostering accountability, growth, and excellence Collaborate closely with supply chain and cross-functional colleagues, providing support and expertise as needed. Own assigned reporting, delivering clear, actionable insights to senior leadership. Support peer managers, sharing expertise and driving cross-functional alignment. Contribute to department strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Drive continuous improvement across supply chain tools, systems, and ways of working supporting the wider team’s goals Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Forecast Accuracy: Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy across categories and channels. Net Working Capital: Support inventory optimization and demand alignment to positively impact working capital. S&OP Maturity: Progression of S&OP implementation milestones across departments. Service Level Performance: Ensure demand plans support high service levels to customers. We have expertise in manufacturing, innovation, food science, research and development, nutrition, distribution, sales, operations, marketing, finance and talent management. We are proud of our brands and the roles they play in Irish life. We are seeking a Head of Brand Partners for the Dry Grocery division. This role is responsible for the attraction, onboarding and ongoing management of Partner Brands and reports directly to the Dry Grocery Category Director of Valeo Foods Ireland. Responsibilities Ensure partner brands receive strong representation across Valeo Foods customers and participate in overall category initiatives. Manage relationships with Partner Brand companies to ensure satisfaction with Valeo Foods Ireland. Collaborate with the Commercial Development Director to target and attract key brands and complete contractual discussions. Develop Customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for brand partner brands and facilitate cascading of key actions to Customer Business Managers. Negotiate pricing on product portfolios. Drive sales performance and growth against targets, identify risks and gaps, and address them within budget. Line manage the partner brand management team (3 people). Coordinate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes. Work with finance, operations and other departments to ensure corporate sales compliance. Key skills Extremely strong relationship management skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships. Persuasive influencer with sound risk assessment capabilities and experience working across multiple brands with multiple brand owners. Excellent communicator who can provide data-driven and intuitive recommendations for business improvement. In-depth knowledge of the partner brand environment and the Irish ambient grocery landscape. Strong self-awareness, willingness to develop, and receptiveness to feedback. Integrity, fair and ethical behavior, and a sense of corporate responsibility.
