  • Construction Project Manager  

    - Kildare

    V7 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for Ireland projects, predominantly in the Leinster to midlands area, mainly to support on a couple of small to medium-sized projects. The client designs and constructs facilities for the Mission Critical Construction Sector. They also provide controlled environments across multiple industrial sectors. Package: circa €70k-80k plus car, pension contribution of 1.5% (negotiable based on experience). Site-based with the possibility to work from the office or home one day a week. Responsibilities: Oversees daily activity of all departments. Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organizational reports as needed. Provides advice and guidance to other employees. Manages team workloads to meet goals and deadlines. Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Implements improvements to existing systems and policies. Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner. Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace. Oversees construction activity. Identifies areas for improvement and plans and implements systems to boost company effectiveness. Manages internal and external service suppliers. Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Level 8 or higher in a related qualification. 5+ years’ experience in a related management role. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Effective leadership and people management skills. Effective management and delegation skills. Understanding of a multi-faceted business operation. Ability to be proactive and foresee events, reacting appropriately. Complex problem-solving ability and effective decision-making skills.   • Mechanical Engineer  

    - Sligo

    My client is a large engineering construction contractor, who is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join on a short-term contract for a Pharma project in Sligo. Responsibilities Evaluate value engineering or cost-saving opportunities. Preparation of coordinated drawings covering all aspects of the installation including mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, structural, and architectural elements. Review and understand project design specifications and drawings and assess compliance of coordinated drawings and technical submittals. Assist in the production of weekly progress reports. Assist in the compilation and assessment of Technical Submittals. Processing requisitions and generation of purchase orders. Attend technical meetings with members of the design team, contractors, and in-house project team. Carry out document control, recording, and transmitting information utilizing File Key. Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities. Requirements 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Senior Trades qualification or equivalent. Significant project engineering experience of 5 years+ with a mechanical contractor. Previous record of delivering small to medium mechanical projects (Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data center type projects). Commercial awareness. Capability of walking down mechanical systems to ensure compliance with specifications. Experience developing technical submittals, completing technical reviews, and assessments. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures. The ability to multi-task and manage many priorities.     Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor My client is an industry leading construction contractor, who are looking for an EHS Advisor to join a Pharmaceutical project in Dublin. This project will be for an initial six months. Key Responsibilities: Provide sound and industry leading advice to project stakeholders. Carry out audits/inspections of workplaces. Attend sites following accidents/incidents and assist with the investigation. In the absence of the Project Director or HSE Manager lead the investigation. Carry out morning meetings and drive safety standards onsite. Qualifications and Experience: Recognised Health and Safety Degree or Diploma. Professional NEBOSH certification required. At least 5 years of experience on mission critical projects (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor).
