About the Role This position will provide forensic mental health legal academic input to the Master of Forensic Mental Health program within the Discipline of Psychiatry and Mental Health. You will contribute to the design and delivery of the program by supporting the planning and execution of both core and elective courses. You will be expected to foster an engaging learning environment through a clear and evolving teaching philosophy that motivates postgraduate students. The position will also require the development of high‑quality online course materials and actively facilitate and moderate student discussions during course delivery. Key Skills and Experience Required Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in a field relevant to Forensic Mental Health Law (e.g., law degree) and/or relevant work experience such as practicing lawyer in mental health contexts. Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of current issues in forensic mental health law. Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate and/or professional levels. Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales). Details of the Role The Post Doctoral Fellow will conduct independent research on modelling the health impact of vaccine strategies for endemic respiratory pathogens. The work will involve developing and applying sophisticated mathematical, statistical, and computational models to inform vaccination strategies, including modelling immunity at multiple scales, age‑ and risk‑group targeting, and combination vaccine schedules. You will contribute to high‑quality scientific outputs, collaborate with national and international partners, support competitive grant development, and progressively establish an independent research profile within the Infectious Disease Dynamics and Interventions group.
