Job Title: Head of Trading (Off-Highway Tyres)

About the Role We are looking for a Head of Trading (Off-Highway Tyres) to lead and grow our sales across the island of Ireland . This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for driving sales performance, developing strategy, and working closely with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing, strong availability, and effective customer support.
You will collaborate closely with Sales and Purchasing , taking ownership of key commercial decisions including ordering, pricing, OEM2 activity, and overall strategy .
This is a hybrid role combining office-based work, customer visits, and occasional trade shows (including some weekend attendance).
Key Responsibilities Lead and grow sales performance across the island of Ireland
Develop and deliver the commercial strategy for the category
Own product ordering and demand planning in collaboration with internal teams
Manage pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness and margin performance
Drive sales activity and customer engagement through structured territory management
Develop and manage OEM2 opportunities and partnerships
Work closely with Purchasing and Sales teams to align stock, pricing, and customer needs
Represent the business at trade shows and industry events when required
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, using insights to inform decisions
What We’re Looking For Strong experience within the sector , ideally with proven commercial results
Solid technical knowledge and the ability to speak confidently with customers
Strong commercial judgement across sales, pricing, and product/category performance
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes
A self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of results
Full clean driving licence (customer-facing travel required)
Experience managing a product/category range, ordering, or pricing responsibility
Existing network in the market on the island of Ireland
Experience supporting OEM or distribution partnerships
Working Pattern This is a hybrid role including:
Office-based work (Antrim / Cavan / Dublin)
Customer site visits and account management
Occasional trade shows and events, which may include weekend work
