Junior Project Manager – Construction & Engineering

Our client, a leading international project delivery and construction consultancy, is currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their expanding team based in Maynooth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineering professional to work on major logistics, pharmaceutical, and data centre developments across Ireland and Europe, supporting the delivery of technically complex and high-value projects.
The Role
Working alongside experienced project leaders, the successful candidate will support the coordination and delivery of projects from early design stages through construction and handover. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong engineering background who is looking to develop a long-term career in project management within fast-paced industrial and mission-critical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects
Assist with project scheduling, reporting, budgeting, and programme management
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and design teams
Monitor project progress, quality, health & safety, and risk management activities
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation
Attend project and site meetings, preparing reports and progress updates
Assist with procurement, contract administration, and change management processes
Ensure project objectives are achieved in line with programme and budget requirements
Requirements
Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
1–3 years’ experience within construction, engineering, or project coordination environments
Strong technical and engineering understanding of construction projects
Experience or exposure to logistics, pharmaceutical, industrial, or data centre projects would be highly advantageous
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work within multidisciplinary and international teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
Fluent English essential
