    Quantity Surveyor – Dublin Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to Eur75,000 per annum plus additional benefits Start Date: ASAP About My Client They are a leading international construction company with a strong track record in delivering complex and large-scale data centre and distribution centre projects across Europe. With continued growth in their pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing team based in Dublin . The Role As a Quantity Surveyor , you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of major data centre and distribution centre builds. You will be involved in all aspects of cost control, procurement, risk management, and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost plans, budgets, and valuations Manage subcontractor packages including procurement, payment, and performance monitoring Perform detailed cost reporting and forecasting Work closely with the project delivery team to monitor progress and mitigate commercial risks Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders on commercial matters Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the industrial, data centre, or large commercial sector Strong knowledge of contract law and standard forms (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, etc.) Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Proficiency in construction cost management software (e.g., CostX, Cubit, etc.) Eligibility to work in Ireland and flexibility to travel if required What They Offer Salary - Up to Eur75,000 per annum Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically advanced projects Clear career progression within a rapidly growing company A collaborative and supportive work culture Ongoing training and professional development How to Apply If you are ready to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking construction leader, please apply now and we will be in contact to discuss further.     About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team working on major construction projects across Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a strong background in large-scale data centre and distribution centre construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-value, technically complex projects on time and within budget. The role involves regular weekly travel to Belgium , where you\'ll be embedded in a collaborative project team, providing essential cost and contract management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full commercial management lifecycle from pre-contract through to final account Conduct cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and risk management Prepare tender documentation and manage subcontractor procurement Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor variations and claims Ensure contractual compliance and advise on commercial risks Work closely with project managers, design teams, and client representatives Produce regular financial reports and progress updates for stakeholders Support the development and mentoring of junior QS staff What We’re Looking For Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills Willingness to travel weekly to Belgium (2 days a week in Belgium) Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field MRICS accreditation (or working toward it) is highly desirable EU work rights or ability to travel freely within the EU is a bonus What’s On Offer Competitive salary + travel allowance Generous benefits package Clear progression pathways within a leading international contractor Exposure to some of Europe’s most high-profile infrastructure and technology projects Dynamic and supportive working culture Ready to take your career to the next level?
