Assistant Spa Manager – Full Time / Part Time
We are inviting applications for a Assistant Spa Manager at our Luxury Spa here at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort. Your role as Assistant Spa Manager is to oversee all aspects of our day spa with guidance from the Spa Manager. In this position, you will hire, train staff members & perform treatments, delegate tasks to staff and set schedules in line with your department’s budget.
Job Responsibilities
We are excited for you to help operate our Stunning Spa and to ensure your team delivers an exceptional, luxurious experience in a professional, warm, clean, inviting environment.
Provide an exceptional customer journey to all clients.
Perform highly skilled treatments as per in‑house training procedures.
Conduct thorough consultations with each client.
Offer your expert home care advice and recommendations.
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness of your treatment room.
Assist other team members in their roles.
Stock‑take of treatment room products each month to ensure a consistent level of stock in each treatment room.
Follow stock rotation, be aware of product usage and waste prevention.
Maintain professional & courteous demeanor to guests & colleagues.
Manage time and organisation as scheduled.
Comply with statutory legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Employment.
Assist with reception duties when required.
Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Attend and participate in spa meetings and training when required.
Knowledge & Requirements
Have an ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO qualification (essential).
Minimum 2 years assistant spa management or salon experience.
Experience in body and facial treatments.
Product knowledge with the award‑winning product Elemis is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to manage budgets, lead a dedicated team, and spearhead marketing efforts.
Experience working with the beauty system Phorest is an advantage but not essential.
Strong managerial/business development skills.
