We’re partnered with a growing HVAC manufacturer delivering ventilation, air handling and air conditioning solutions across commercial projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Established in 2014 by the three directors, the business has grown steadily and now operates with a team of over 45, continuing to expand its technical sales function.
To support this growth, they’re looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to develop relationships with consultants and support projects from specification through to order.
This is a consultant-led, technical sales role, focused on supporting specifications, advising on solutions and securing projects, rather than transactional sales.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Sales Engineer
• Developing relationships with consultants, supporting specifications across HVAC and ventilation systems
• Advising on air handling, ventilation and air conditioning solutions
• Carrying out selections where required or coordinating with internal teams for technical support
• Supporting customers with technical queries and project requirements
• Managing a pipeline of projects and converting specifications into orders
This is an external, client-facing role, typically involving 2–3 days per week on the road meeting consultants, with the remainder spent managing projects and enquiries.
Ideal Candidate
You’ll come from an HVAC or building services background with the ability to engage with consultants and support projects from a technical and commercial perspective. xsokbrc Experience working within a consultancy environment would be particularly beneficial.
• Experience within technical sales, applications, estimating or design within HVAC / building services
• Understanding of MVHR, ventilation, air handling, heat pumps, fan coil or air conditioning systems
• Able to manage projects from enquiry through to order
• Commercial awareness with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Working Pattern
• Dublin / East Ireland focused role
• 2–3 days per week on the road, remainder flexible
Package
• Salary up to £65,000 (DOE)
