    Senior HVAC Engineer Munster, Ireland Contract: 12 Months Company Description Our client is a major global biotech company based in Munster who are looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer to work and support ongoing capex projects. HVAC Lead / Senior HVAC Engineer will be responsible for the delivery, coordination, and oversight of HVAC systems on a large‑scale Life Sciences (Pharma / Biopharma) project in Ireland , ensuring full compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role will support the project engineering and CQV teams to ensure HVAC systems are designed, installed, commissioned, and qualified in line with project execution plans, client standards, and Irish/EU regulations. The successful candidate will act as the HVAC SME across the project lifecycle, from design through handover. Principal Accountabilities: Lead and support the design review, specification, and technical oversight of HVAC systems including cleanroom, classified, and non‑classified environments. Manage the development and review of HVAC design documentation , including URS, specifications, layouts, schematics, calculations, and equipment schedules. Coordinate with process, architectural, electrical, automation, and CQV teams to ensure integrated system design and successful project execution. Oversee HVAC installation activities on site, ensuring works are executed in compliance with design, safety standards, and project schedules. Support the commissioning and qualification (C&Q) of HVAC systems including FAT, SAT, commissioning, and IQ/OQ activities. Review and approve vendor and contractor documentation including method statements, test protocols, and validation documentation. Manage and close out HVAC‑related snags, deviations, and change controls , supporting GMP compliance. Coordinate responses to technical queries (RFIs) and manage HVAC clarification logs with contractors and vendors. Ensure HVAC systems meet GMP, Annex 1, ISO, ASHRAE, and cGMP standards applicable to Irish and EU Life Sciences facilities. Support project handover activities including as‑built documentation, O&M manuals, and training . Experience: 8–10+ years’ experience delivering HVAC systems on complex industrial projects. Proven experience working on GMP‑regulated Life Sciences facilities (Pharmaceutical, Biotech). Strong understanding of cleanroom HVAC design , air change strategies, pressure cascades, temperature and humidity control. Experience through the full project lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning and qualification . Hands‑on experience working with MEP contractors, equipment vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams . Strong knowledge of EU and Irish regulations , GMP, ISO standards, and relevant industry guidelines. Experience reviewing and managing contractor and vendor deliverables and interfacing with clients and regulators. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive technical decisions in a fast‑paced project environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr

Principal Accountabilities Support in the management of the development and production of the procurement documents for both the pre‑qualification and selection stages of the procurement of the contract including liaising with the legal advisors. Support in the management of the PQQ and ITT evaluation process including development of evaluator training material, and monitoring progress during the evaluation process. Manage and co‑ordinate the technical workstream of the tender dialogue during the tender phase including all necessary preparation for the tender dialogue. Experience 10 years’ experience in a complex procurement environment with at least 5 years’ experience leading procurement activities across the project lifecycle through to procurement completion on a project of a similar scale / complexity. Experience in the procurement of PPP / DBFOM contracts. Experience in procurement of European procurement directives, EU public/utilities civil, contract law and construction procurement as a client or for client bodies. Qualifications Degree in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, supply chain, procurement, quantity surveying, business, or related disciple.
