Senior IT Project Manager
Reporting to the Service Delivery/Business Partner Service and Backoffice for HVAC EMEA ANZ, you will lead IT projects to drive improvement for various functional areas such as Sales & Service and Finance. Provide leadership from start to finish including prioritization, solution selection, scoping, planning, coordination and stabilization.
Where Is The Work
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with colleagues. Fridays, choose work location, balancing requirements.
What You Will Do
Directly manage all aspects of the project life‑cycle, responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring project scope, timeline, budget and delivery.
Identify, align and coordinate project resources (internal and external) to meet the delivery schedule.
Manage day‑to‑day project execution tasks through all phases from solution selection, through execution, implementation and stabilization, including test cycle management and defect resolution management.
Adhere to Trane Technologies’ IT Project Governance model ensuring final product meets architecture and security standards.
Adhere to and maintain project management standards, tools and routines including but not limited to:
Structuring of programs and projects
Resourcing/forecasting
Financial Management
Sourcing and Vendor Management
Governance and control
Project planning and reporting
Risk and issue mitigation
Business benefit realization
Coordination of internal readiness assessment reviews with internal audit
Conduct regular, periodic project management status meetings to apprise all stakeholders of project progress, issues, challenges, risks, and project management activities.
Ensure proper risk disciplines are in place to deliver the best outcomes for customers, clients, and shareholders.
Mobilize team to govern program work streams to achieve all milestones and deliverables on target.
Mentor and coach other team members on project management methodologies.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of project management work experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification
Experience in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques
Positive track record of delivering complex projects & initiatives
Expert with the MS Office Suite
Strong communication skills, written & verbal
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Driving consensus and resolving conflicts quickly
Collaborative, team player with ability to connect across groups and regions, with proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
