About the role: We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our operations team based in Co.Tipperary. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of materials to ensure an efficient supply chain. This role focuses on stock accuracy, supplier coordination, inbound and outbound logistics, and quality control while streamlining processes to optimize product availability. Ideally, the person will have a keen willingness to continuously develop their product knowledge on all aspects of Ergonomics, and associated products. What you will do: Materials & Supply Chain Coordination Oversee stock checks, purchase orders (POs), and stock accuracy to maintain optimal inventory levels. Manage goods-in processes to ensure timely material receipt. Work closely with suppliers for PO approvals and supplier approvals. Monitor and manage in-transit shipments and delivery schedules. Ensure efficient picking, packing, and courier labelling processes. Address samples and returns handling for quality assurance. New Product Launch & Website Maintenance Support new product introduction and product launches from a product set up, configuration and materials planning perspective. Website product management. Ensure product availability and updates on the website for product maintenance. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to stock levels, supplier performance, and order fulfilment. Utilize ERP system for data management and reporting. Participate in daily huddle meetings to communicate key updates on inventory management. Identify and resolve product quality issues by coordinating with relevant teams. Conduct related quality checks to maintain compliance and standards. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control documentation in accordance with Supply chain planning. General & Shared Responsibilities Assist in monthly billing processes related to material supply. Conduct onboarding training for new team members within Operations. IT Support set up for new joiners. Manage the supplier mailbox to handle enquiries and issues. Act as point of cover for the customer support mailbox when required. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is highly desirable. Minimum 3+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or logistics. Strong proficiency in ERP systems. Experience working with supplier management and quality control. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate with suppliers. Knowledge of quality management processes. Consultative based selling based on understanding client requirements and developing effective solutions. Manage and expand existing relationships with corporate clients in person, by phone, and email. New business development - generate sufficient new leads to ensure continuous pipeline. Manage own calendar and arrange own initial client meetings to introduce service. Concise, accurate and efficient updating of relevant information in the CRM system. Ergonomics: Perform ergonomic and workstation assessments in order to identify and evaluate movement, behaviours, psychosocial factors, and physical setup and guide on improvements to employee performance, physical and mental health management, and identifying potential safety risks. Workstation Assessments are performed remotely and in-person. Analytical approach to workstation assessments with a focus on understanding specifics of situation and a strong problem-solving ability. Set up of equipment for clients and training and guidance on usage and good working practice. Develop and document a detailed prioritised outcome report with recommendations on appropriate measures to remedy and control risks identified during assessments. What we are looking for: Academic background in ergonomics, physiotherapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy or other healthcare or health science, sports science is beneficial. Communicate effectively at managerial level in large companies. Result driven, highly competitive and enthusiastic individual. Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to develop new business as well as build and maintain solid client relationships. Good Numeracy and PC Literate - MS office/excel/word/outlook. Fluency in English language both written and verbal. About the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for educating their prospects and customers on the benefits of Ergonomics, then leveraging that knowledge in the sale of our products and services.
