    FINANCE MANAGER - JOB SHARE Part-time up 24 hours per week (schedule negotiable), reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer Essential qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance/ACA/ACCA/CIMA Essential experience : Minimum of five years industry accounting, budgeting and business management; Sage accounting and payroll software; Non-essential/advantageous experience : Leisure, sport or hospitality industry management or other human resources or operations management Key Competencies: Analytical, Problem-solving; Integrity, IT, Communication; Responsibilities: Financial reporting : Prepare, analyse and present financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements; Co-ordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing of any audit findings; Payroll : Oversee and manage weekly payroll; Manage and process all staff annual leave requests; Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with the C.E.O. to set financial goals and allocate resources; Develop financial forecasts and long-term strategies; Monitor budget performance, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions; Cost Control and Management Accounting: Implement and oversee cost accounting systems to analyse costs, overheads, and variances; Track and improve cost efficiency; Conduct break-even analysis and profitability assessments; Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure efficient business operations; Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions; Optimise working capital by managing payable and receivable levels; Preparation and posting of monthly accruals and prepayments; Credit control management; Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide financial analysis to support decision-making by the management team; Evaluate potential opportunities, capital investments and risk assessments; Present key financial metrics and trends to stakeholders; Taxation and Compliance: Oversee corporate tax planning and compliance; Ensure timely filing of tax returns, VAT submissions and other statutory requirements; Staff Benefits: Competitive salary Payment during break periods Permanent contract Free use of gym and swim facilities Staff discounts To apply: Interested applicants should send a copy of their most up to date Curriculum Vitae along with a cover letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr
