  • Assistant Accommodation Manager Full-Time We are looking to recruit a key role to join our Accommdoation Team at The Trinity City Hotel. The position of Assistant Accommodation Manager is now available to support the Hotel Management Team. You will be responsible for ensuring we always offer our guests consistently high standards throughout the hotel whilst deputising for the Maintenance Manager of the hotel. Main Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide a clear business plan for the Accommodation department in conjunction with Accommodation Manager. Comply with company policies and procedures. Implement strategies to improve overall operations within the department. Monitor budget and control expense for the Accomodation department. Liaise with Front Office team. Establish and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness on all rooms and public areas. Monitor and oversee the Hotel overall tidiness and cleanliness. Assist Accommodation Manager on daily operational duties & tasks. The ideal candidates will possess the following: 2+ years experience as Accommodation Supervisor or similar role. Hospitality background Excellent communication skills. Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service. Fluent level of spoken and written English essential. Health & Safety knowledge and awareness. Be self-motivated, standards driven and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.   • TITLE:Cluster Corporate Sales Manager, The Trinity City Hotel and The Spencer Hotel REPORTING TO:Cluster Sales Director - Corporate, MHL Hotel Collection MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Trinity City Hotel and The Spencer Hotel, members of the MHL Hotel Collection, are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team. As Cluster Corporate Sales Manager (CCSM), you will work closely with the MHL Cluster Sales Director Corporate (CSDC) and the Hotel General Managers. You will take full responsibility for our existing local corporate accounts and analyse the market to proactively attain new local corporate accounts and corporate groups. Success in this role will be measure by increasing room nights and revenue in our corporate and corporate group market segments, with conference in house segment applicable for some properties. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Building, managing and maintaining relationships with local companies. Negotiating rate agreements on a local level only. Assisting with RFPs as necessary. Seeking out and attracting local corporate group business. Assist the CSDC in building and managing relationships with DMCs and any key local providers. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Must have a minimum of 2 years of proactive hotel sales experience. Experience of the corporate market in Dublin City Centre is preferable, but not essential. Must be able to knock on doors to get the business. Confident and experienced with cold calling, online and offline research. Persuasive negotiating skills and ability to convert business. Ability to achieve targets for appointments and converted business. Maintain accurate and up to date records of sales activities and client interactions in Salesforce. Strong customer development and relationship management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing) and problem-solving skills.     The Trinity City Hotel 4* is currently recruiting for an experienced Full Time Concierge to join their Guest Relations team. We are proud to welcome guests from Ireland and around the world, all year along and provide them with the best experience. Ideal candidates will be passionate about hospitality & customer service. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provide an excellent service to our customers in the politest possible way by having good hospitality standards (smile and greet guests appropriately, show interest, offer assistance and respond to guests needs and comfort). Respect the privacy of our hotel guests and respect their personal property at all times. Have a general knowledge of the hotel and the company history overall and meal times, services available etc Be familiar with local tourist attractions, amenities and activities and be able to assist customers with their requirements. Deal with customer complaints in a diplomatic manner at all times and never argue. Seek the assistance of Management where appropriate. General upkeep of hotel exterior and Reception / Lobby area as requested. All traffic stopping in front of the hotel to be monitored and no parking to be allowed in the set down area. Providing valet parking service to customers as required. Assist Receptionists with welcoming and guest check-in when required. Providing cover for Receptionists while on breaks / lunch when required. Assisting guests with luggage when required. Liaise with reception and accommodation, especially in regards to delivering anything to guests rooms (room service etc). Ensure that all entrance doors and emergency exists are shut and cleaned regularly. Assist with the clearing of any unwanted items from all front of house areas including rubbish, glasses, cups, plates, cutlery etc Exterior flowers and plants are watered as required. To maintain fires and clean fireplaces at required times. Ensure that all reasonable care is taken for yourself, your colleagues, customers and any other persons on the premises.
