  • The Royal Marine Hotel is currently recruiting for a full time Maintenance Assistant to join the Team. Job Role Working alongside the Maintenance manager to complete all maintenance related work within the hotel in a timely fashion; you'll be responsible for making sure the property is consistently maintained to Neville group standards and any issues are addressed in a timely manner. The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and involve working closely with all hotel departments to ensure minimum disruption to guests. The Ideal Candidate Knowledge and experience of plumbing, electrics and decorating are highly important to this role, alongside being enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well under pressure. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on a high standard of work and has the ability to prioritise their workload efficiently. Hours of Work: 5 day week shifts between 10-6.30pm or 12-8.30 depending on business levels, Saturday shifts would also be required. Primary objective of position: Day to day management of The Royal Marine Hotel through the consistent delivery of the highest standards To promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotels targets. As Maintenance Assistant, you will be required to; Conduct general Hotel maintenance inside and out. Have a basic knowledge of Plumbing/Carpentry/Wall Tiling/Decorating skills. Work on your own initiative. Communicate effectively with both the public and work colleagues. Be fully familiar with all Health and Safety instructions relevant to your area of work. Adhere to all current legislation pertaining to fire, health and safety regarding the work place. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and support the spa team to deliver outstanding service and memorable guest experiences. Perform a range of spa treatments (including massage, facials, and nail services) a minimum of two days per week. Demonstrated success in driving retail and treatment sales. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills.
