    Overview The Inn at Dromoland is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our corporate and leisure sales activity, representing one of Ireland's most renowned hotel destinations. This is a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious professional eager to step into a managerial role and make a real impact. Responsibilities Plan and direct day to day operation of the corporate and leisure sales function to ensure maximum revenue and profitability. Provide potential and existing clients with the highest level of sales service. Identify and monitor sales trends throughout the year, i.e. peak and off-peak periods, and maximise where possible. Perform day to day sales activity including sales calls, contracting and rate negotiation, site inspections, attendance at trade shows and client entertainment. This may require evening and weekend work. Develop on existing and new tour operators (Series & FIT) for The Inn at Dromoland and target these companies in conjunction with the sales team and senior management. Raise the profile of The Inn at Dromoland through networking and PR activities. In conjunction with the Estate marketing team, manage the hotel's advertising and promotional campaigns with an emphasis on promoting our extensive range of wedding options. Report weekly/monthly on account performance and general activity to General Manager and Estate Sales Team. Assist in preparing sales proposals and contracts tailored to the specific needs of clients, outlining pricing, services, and terms to secure bookings. Maintain client databases and records, tracking interactions, bookings, and preferences to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Assist in coordinating logistics for FAM trips and site inspections for all market segments. Prepare and maintain sales reports, tracking key performance indicators such as revenue, bookings, and conversion rates to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings, providing insights to inform sales strategies and target new business opportunities. Maintain The Inn at Dromoland's listing across partner sites, updating fact sheets across multiple sites on a quarterly basis with any new information on rooms, F&B, etc. Source new corporate accommodation clients through proactive and reactive sales efforts. Continuous development of relationships with international tour operators through in-person/online presentations, site visits, show rounds, annual contract review/negotiation, etc. Update Corporate databases and review check-ins to identify new and existing corporate contacts for Sales. Work with the Estate Marketing team to compile existing and new collateral opportunities for each business segment. Requirements Have 2 - 3 years or more of Hotel Sales experience. Be results driven, energetic, and focused. Have excellent communication skills, negotiation and presentation skills. Have excellent IT skills and an understanding of digital and social media marketing. Can prioritise and organise work assignments. Can be flexible and well organised. Can meet deadlines and be adaptable to changing work demands. Must be a car owner with a full clean driver's license. This role requires travel. Why join us? We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Operative to support the smooth operation of our hotel and leisure centre. Location: The Inn at Dromoland, Co. Clare Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday (rotational Saturday shift every 3rd week) Contract: Full-Time, Permanent What You'll Do Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks across the hotel and grounds. Use the Snapfix system to log and complete maintenance jobs efficiently. Conduct weekly and monthly safety checks including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting, and fire safety equipment. Assist service engineers when on site and liaise with management on property upkeep. Maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance supplies (light bulbs, batteries, fuses, etc.). Record monthly utilities (water, gas, electricity) and monitor for irregularities. Ensure all health & safety, fire, hygiene, and security procedures are followed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (hotel or similar environment preferred). Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs an advantage. A practical problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to support other departments and occasional additional duties when required.
