Job Summary: The Public Area Attendantis responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness, presentation, and safety of allhotelpublic spaces. This role ensures that guests experience a clean, welcoming environmentat all timesservicing lobbies, corridors, restrooms, meeting areas, and other shared facilities. KeyResponsibilities Clean, sanitise, andmaintainall public spaces including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, restrooms, reception areas, and function rooms. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, furniture, mirrors, and surfaces. Ensure all public area bins are emptied and replaced with fresh liners. Maintain outdoor entry areas, keeping walkways free of debris. Check restrooms regularly throughout the shift. Replenish toiletries, hand towels, and soap supplies. Report or address any spills, hazards, or maintenance issuesimmediately. Greet guests warmly andprovide assistanceor directions when approached. Respond politely to guest concerns and communicate them to the supervisor when necessary. Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures. Useappropriate signagesuch as Wet Floor and Cleaning in Progress. Report equipment faults, safety hazards, or unusual situations promptly. Assistwith setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces asrequired. Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and request replenishment from the supervisor. Support housekeeping colleagues and communicate effectively with the team. Job Summary: The Accommodation Supervisor supports the delivery of a consistently elevated guest experience by overseeing room presentation, public area standards, and day-to-day housekeeping operations. This role plays a key part in driving quality, ensuring accuracy in room release procedures, and guiding the team toward operational consistency. Bymaintainingstrong oversight of cleanliness, resources, and performance, the Accommodation Supervisor contributes to a well-managed environment that reflects the estates commitment to excellence, care, and operational discipline. KeyResponsibilities Support the team in preparing and servicing guest rooms and public areas in line with established SOPs. Conduct room inspections using the defined quality checklist before rooms are released for sale. Maintain accountability for cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition across assigned areas. Execute daily task sheets, manage section pantries, and overseeaccurateinventory use. Report defects or maintenance concerns promptly through designated internal platforms. Complete assigned credits daily, adjusting as occupancy and business needs require. Ensureaccuratestart and finish times are captured andvalidatedfor productivity alignment. Support cost control bymaintainingpar levels for chemicals, OS&E, guest amenities, and linen. Assistdepartment managers by providing information required for budgeting and performance reviews. Lead by example, supporting training initiatives and reinforcing grooming and service standards. Guide team members in stocking trolleys, preparing work areas, and following daily operational requirements. Remain flexible in supporting all housekeeping areas in line with business demands. Contribute to team development by supporting coaching, feedback, and skill-building on the floor. Uphold safety procedures, ensuring correct use of chemicals and protective equipment. Maintain immaculate standards across rooms, floors, public areas, and estate surroundings. Champion consistency through adherence to shift checklists and SOP-driven processes. Support sustainabilityobjectivesby ensuring proper waste segregation and linen-discard tracking. Act as a communication bridge between leadership and the housekeeping team.
