Job Description
The role is office/home based with travel expected weekly and nights away when required. You will oversee the delivery of large, high‑profile construction projects, ensuring all are completed in accordance with H&S regulations, budget, and agreed timescales. The position is headquartered in Donabate, Dublin.
Responsibilities
Take direct responsibility for large and complex projects as defined in the project structure.
Coordinate and implement Design Freeze in conjunction with Commercial Staff, managing variations.
Maintain detailed Gantt charts or equivalent project plans for all regional projects, updating them regularly.
Forecast current and future workload in liaison with the Senior Project Manager.
Collaborate with Health & Safety leads and Safety Champions to enhance contractor and site safety.
Maintain Project Risk Registers throughout project delivery.
Ensure resources (labour, materials, subcontractors) are in place to meet handover dates within budget.
Review and analyse project progress against programme, planned vs. actual costs.
Conduct Project Close‑Out meetings, recording lessons learned and reviewing costs.
Manage all correspondence, documentation, and information in line with Portakabin project delivery and document control standards.
Possess a full Irish Driving licence.
Health and Safety
Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and company procedure relating to Health and Safety.
Prepare and maintain method statements, risk assessments, drawings, delivery schedules, Lift Plans, and RAMS for cranage works.
Essential Criteria
Proven project management experience.
Project Management qualification, preferably PMQ.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex/high‑value building projects.
Ability to work productively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of financial control, negotiation of terms, and final accounts.
Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations, HTM’s, and HBN’s.
Logical decision‑making skills.
Full Irish Driving licence.
