In this position, the candidate must have the ability to learn quickly about the business and the supporting applications from the inside out, while providing guidance to the team. Organizational Relationships The Team Lead Business Analyst will work closely with both the business and IT stakeholders to help set the direction in the process of gathering and documenting requirements, that aligns with the existing standards and procedures. The role will be both technical and business orientated, as such requirements gathering can be system driven or business operationally driven. The Team Lead Business Analyst is also expected to play an active role in assisting the project management teams that support the various initiatives for the organization. Principal Accountabilities Team Lead: Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, providing guidance, support, and performance management. Own and review solution design documents that clearly articulate Problem Statements, As-Is & To-Be states, User Stories, Proto-Types & Success Criteria. Drive requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for assigned enterprise-level projects. About You Background / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent work experience. Ability to work in fast paced, complex Business & IT environments. Well-rounded individual possessing a high degree of initiative. Proactive person willing to accept responsibility with very little handholding. Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English. Previous Work Experience: Minimum six years’ experience as a Lead Business Analyst, with demonstrated success in large-scale transformation projects preferably with in the Financial Services sector, required. At minimum, two years of experience of BA Leadership or Team Lead, required. Advanced knowledge in BA methodologies and tools – experience in JIRA, Confluence is desirable.
