    As an L1 Service Desk Agent, you will be responsible for handling incoming technical support requests, troubleshooting IT issues, and providing prompt resolutions or escalating where necessary. You will work closely with a team of IT professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients, primarily based in Ireland. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling IT support queries via phone, email, and ticketing system. Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. Accurately log, prioritize, and track incidents, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to L2/L3 teams when required. Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps and provide clear instructions. About You Previous experience in an L1 Service Desk, IT Support, or Customer Service role within an IT environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Excellent phone manner and a customer-focused approach. Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts. Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar). Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
