Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland and based close to the company location. Degree qualified Chemist and a strong knowledge/qualification in paint or plastic adhesives would be an advantage.   • My client, an International EPC group, has a number of openings for experienced Senior Civil Engineers with previous experience within heavy industry, oil & gas, renewables, etc.. We are looking for motivated and experienced senior/principal civil engineers to work on the design and site project management of power stations, as well as a future pipeline of projects. You will provide your civil expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and project teams. The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your technical experience and the position you take within our team: Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively. Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders. Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support contractor activities on site. Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial). Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings. Provide expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures. Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream. We would love to hear from people with Bachelors or masters in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered with Engineers Ireland, or with equivalent experience and willingness to obtain. Experience in the use of Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software. Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
