  • HR and Payroll Administrator  

    - Dublin

    My client, a growing retail business with multiple locations across North County Dublin is hiring aHR & Payroll Administrator for a maternity 12 month FTC. This is a hands-on HR and payroll support role where you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, while also supporting payroll processing through an external provider. There is real scope for this role to grow and evolve as the business continues to expand beyond the initial contract. What you will be doing Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes Assisting with recruitment across multiple retail locations Managing HR administration and employee records Collating payroll data including timesheets and hours worked Liaising with the external payroll provider Handling payroll-related queries from employees Supporting with ad hoc HR and administrative duties as needed While not essential, experience in the following areas would be a strong advantage: Supporting with employee relations matters such as absence management, performance issues or disciplinary processes Providing guidance to managers on day-to-day HR queries Assisting with policy updates or HR process improvements What we are looking for 2 -5yr experience in a HR admin or HR generalist role CIPD qualified / HR Degree Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment A hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved across different areas Strong communication skills The details Initially 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) Fully on-site role, Monday to Friday North County Dublin location Free on-site parking Salary is open depending on experience Why this role This is a great opportunity to join a growing business where you will gain broad exposure across both HR and payroll. This is a newly created role, working directly alongside the Tax Director. It will offer strong mentoring and hands on exposure across a wide range of tax work. Duties will include: Prepare and file accurate and timely Income Tax Returns Handle the preparation of CGT and CAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Complete Corporation Tax returns with strong attention to detail Assist with VAT returns and support the smooth running of the tax department Research technical tax issues for directors and respond to ad hoc tax queries from audit, accounts staff, and clients Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: ACCA, ACA qualified coupled with 1-2 years' experience in a tax focused role within practice essential CTA qualified or interested in working towards.
