Borgo is a growing North County Dublin Practice and we are now seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their expanding practice team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an award winning, forward thinking accountancy practice. The role offers strong exposure to a diverse client portfolio while working alongside experienced client managers and a collaborative team. The successful candidate will work with a range of SME clients across multiple sectors, supporting the preparation of financial statements, management accounts and tax returns while continuing to develop their technical expertise. This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients, building strong relationships and contributing to a modern, technology focused accounting environment. Roles and Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards Prepare and review management accounts Prepare and review corporation tax, personal tax returns, VAT and other tax filings Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors Support junior team members and assist with their development where required Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation, accounting standards and compliance requirements Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within client accounting work Collaborate with the wider client services team to deliver excellent client outcomes What We Are Looking For Experience Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) Irish practice accounting experience essential Newly qualified or up to approximately 1-2 years PQE Strong understanding of Irish tax and accounting regulations Technical Skills Experience using accounting software such as Xero and Bright Accounts Production Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Comfortable working with modern digital accounting systems and technology Professional Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Strong communication and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines High level of professionalism and integrity Personal Qualities Proactive and solutions-focused mindset A strong relationship builder with a commercial outlook Self-starter with the ability to manage workload independently Client-focused approach with a genuine commitment to service excellence Interest in technology and continuous improvement What You Will Get Join an award-winning practice - Borgo was named Online Practice of the Year at the Irish Accountancy Awards 2025 A role with real impact in a growing and innovative practice Exposure to a diverse and interesting client portfolio Hybrid 2 days WFH 35.5hr work week Parking, pension, company bonus scheme A collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive salary based on experience Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities Access to modern accounting technology and systems *** must have full employment rights*** Stamp 4 or EU Passport Closing date for applications Friday March 27th @ 5:30pm Skills: ACA ACCA Bright Pay
