About the team The Risk Operations team is looking for an experienced analyst to join an industry leading global credit operations team. This position is responsible for conducting in‑depth credit reviews, leading initiatives to improve credit decisioning at scale, and working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to expand the impact of the credit operations team to mitigate credit risk to Stripe. They should have a deep understanding of commercial credit analysis/underwriting, experience identifying and implementing credit processes & programs, strong analytical skills, and experience leading initiatives in a highly cross‑functional & collaborative environment. What you’ll do The Risk Operations team is looking for an experienced Credit Operations Analyst to join an industry leading global credit operations team. As a Credit Analyst, you will execute operational processes and scale programs while devising growth friendly solutions that reduce Stripe’s credit risk. We are looking for someone passionate about commercial credit, the payments ecosystem, and has a strong desire to work collaboratively with peers and partners in the credit space while building and enhancing processes at scale. This person will work alongside a global team of analysts and build cross functional partnerships with engineering, strategy, sales, vendor management, and more. The right candidate for this role should have an understanding of general credit principles, risk management, and credit modeling. Successful candidates for the role will have a minimum of three years’ experience in credit operations within the payments, fintech, or financial service spaces. Responsibilities Work with merchants from successful venture‑backed startups to well established institutions Complete in‑depth credit reviews on merchants throughout their life cycle to identify credit concerns Investigate and action/triage escalations across multiple channels while providing accurate and timely responses Own various operational processes that the team performs such as credit reviews and handling urgent risk‑related escalations whilst upholding a strong commitment to process excellence and clear documentation Identify risk factors & trends and further report said trends to the wider risk team Utilize analytics to optimise strategies which can be enforced across the portfolio Maintain regular communication with cross‑functional stakeholders Identify gaps in current systems, policies and strategies, and recommend enhancements and process improvements Lead team work streams related to credit decisioning & accuracy, providing updates in team and org wide business reviews Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in‑office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in‑office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in‑person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible. The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €60,300 – €90,500. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. About the team The Terminal Logistics team sits within the Product Experience Organization (PXO) and is responsible for managing the End to End Logistics and Supply chain functions for our Terminal business. The team is responsible for the Purchasing, transportation, warehousing, shipping, delivery and reverse logistics of Terminal hardware, while also defining the processes necessary to deliver a great customer experience in the fulfillment process, from the moment a customer places an order, receiving it and/or returning it when needed. We are adding several new vendors to our hardware lineup, and as we incubate and grow our logistics model with them, we are looking for a program manager that can help us design and execute our logistics processes. What you’ll do We are looking for a program manager to join our Logistics team to help us incubate, define and manage the end to end supply chain for our third party hardware business. You’ll interact with vendors/partners directly, and mutually drive efforts to define processes, create roadmaps and execute our day to day operations with our hardware vendors. The role is responsible for the definition of new integrations and functionality, improving operations, driving incident resolution procedures, and using metrics to track and improve performance.
