Overview Applications are invited for the above Full Time Permanent Position.
The Organisation Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community-based services to people with intellectual disabilities in the West Dublin area. We support people with a wide range of support needs across residential settings, day services, supported independent living, job advocacy and vocational training.
Role Purpose The role encompasses management of all aspects of the Designated Centre to include provision of a high quality, person-centred service to residents and effective management of the staff team and resources.
The Person For CNM 2: Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) OR for SCM2: Be registered with CORU as a Social Care Worker and hold an appropriate level degree (Level 8 qualification desirable).
Meet the requirements of the Health Act (2007) Regulations (2013) with regard to the requirements of a Person in Charge.
Have a strong working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated Regulations and Guidance, and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector.
Clinical experience supporting people with Dementia.
Post graduate qualification in a relevant area would be a distinct advantage.
5 plus years’ experience in the disability sector would be an advantage.
A management qualification would be an advantage.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
Have excellent computer literacy and information technology skills.
Possess excellent report writing skills.
Have an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving Licence.
Salary scale in accordance with qualifications and with Department of Health consolidated pay scales. CNM2 scale €60,854-€74,658 per annum / SCM2 scale €60,658-€69,410 per annum.
