  • THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced and proactive Resident Engineer to take a leading role in the successful delivery of a major water pipeline construction project. This is a key site‑based position, acting as the client’s representative and providing critical oversight throughout all phases of the works. ABOUT THE ROLE As Resident Engineer, you will play a central role in the day‑to‑day supervision and successful delivery of water infrastructure works, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in line with project specifications and contractual requirements. This includes overseeing the installation of water pipelines and booster pumping stations, as well as associated excavation, reinstatement, and testing works. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with contract documentation, including PW‑CF4, while maintaining accurate and detailed daily site records to support progress tracking and reporting. A key aspect of the role involves regular coordination and communication with contractors, local authorities, Uisce Éireann, utility providers, and affected landowners to facilitate smooth project delivery and resolve any on‑site issues. In addition, you will support the implementation of robust health and safety practices, environmental controls, and quality assurance procedures across all activities. You are ideally Chartered, or progressing toward chartership, and bring a well‑rounded mix of technical and practical site experience.
