This exciting pipeline of work, coupled with the scale of opportunity across the AMP8 cycle in the UK means that we are seeking Civil Engineers at all levels with experience in the water / wastewater industry to join us. We are flexible with location so the position can be based in Dublin, Belfast or elsewhere. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team spread across the UK and Ireland, supporting the delivery of a variety of projects as part of a major capital investment programme. Working closely with Technical Specialists, Framework Managers, Project Managers and Project Technical Leads, you will provide technical expertise and ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards. You will play a key role in our urban drainage teams taking on multiple small projects or large programmes of work for our clients, along with opportunities to innovate service offerings and develop industry leading solutions. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. About You To be considered for this opportunity you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM and have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry. You will also have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus. Experience of working within a professional services or similar consultancy organisation would be beneficial.
