  • Senior Wastewater Network Modeller

To support this growth, we are seeking to recruit experienced Wastewater Network Modellers / Urban Drainage Modellers in Dublin and Belfast. This is an opportunity to help us deliver a great range of projects and join our reputable UDM team spread across the UK & Ireland. We look forward to continuing our work with Uisce Eireann on the Engineering Design Services Framework and in Northern Ireland, we are proud to have been appointed to Northern Ireland Water’s IF182 Professional Services Framework. Taoiseach Simon Harris recently opened our new Dublin office, and we have now also moved to a new city centre office in Belfast . This exciting pipeline of work, coupled with the scale of opportunity across the AMP8 cycle in the UK means that we are seeking Civil Engineers at all levels with experience in the water / wastewater industry to join us. We are flexible with location so the position can be based in Dublin, Belfast or elsewhere. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team spread across the UK and Ireland, supporting the delivery of a variety of projects as part of a major capital investment programme. Working closely with Technical Specialists, Framework Managers, Project Managers and Project Technical Leads, you will provide technical expertise and ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards. You will play a key role in our urban drainage teams taking on multiple small projects or large programmes of work for our clients, along with opportunities to innovate service offerings and develop industry leading solutions. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. About You To be considered for this opportunity you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM and have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry. You will also have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus. We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR Client Services Team as the HR Lead for our Republic of Ireland business. This role can be based in either our Dublin or Galway offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office and home working. Our Republic of Ireland business has recently expanded following the 2025 acquisition of Ryan Hanley and has ambitious growth plans for the coming years. As HR Business Partner you will provide HR support and guidance to our business unit leaders on company policy and best practice and will manage stakeholder relationships across the Republic of Ireland. You will be instrumental in enabling organisational effectiveness and the growth of our Republic of Ireland business by implementing HR solutions aligned to the business’ strategic objectives. The role will require you to balance strategic initiatives with providing expert input across a range of HR issues and employee relations cases. Reporting into the Head of HR Client Services, UK & Ireland, your key responsibilities will include: Deliver the HR strategy across the Republic of Ireland in collaboration with senior leaders and the wider UK and Ireland HR team. Delivering timely and effective expert HR input and support across a range of HR issues. Contribute to and where needed define, policies and processes that support the people strategy and objectives. Use and understand people tools and policies, engaging effectively to ensure their consistent use across the business. Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies and understand the landscape for improvement. Coach and build capability of senior managers to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues. Build robust company wide networks and keep up to date with external trends and best practice. About You You will be an experienced HR professional with proven experience of influencing change, coaching and challenging leaders in complex, fast paced and changing environments. You will have the ability to partner with senior leaders and will be confident in engaging and influencing at all levels. Your client- and results-focus will be critical to success in this role; as will your knowledge of HR best practice and principles, and your ability to interpret analysis and metrics to help identify trends, communicate insight and develop solutions. Experience of working within a professional services or similar consultancy organisation would be beneficial. Preferably you will be a CIPD Chartered Member, although we can also consider applications from those who have achieved CIPD level 5 and are working towards Chartered Member status. You will have the capability to coach and work within the wider energy team. You will be engaged in the engineering community and understand how we can drive success for our clients, including understanding innovative solutions and industry best practices. Hold an NEC4 ECC Project Manager accreditation. Have previous project management experience in the areas listed in the ‘job role’. Willingness to travel as required. We are particularly interested in candidates with good knowledge of National Grid's Transmission procedures and thorough experience applying National Grid's Technical Specification, Technical Guidance Notes, and Design Handbooks relating to civil/structural engineering of electricity T&D infrastructure in the UK.
