  • Person Support Workers - Flexible/Part-Time St. Margarets Network is recruiting Person Support Workers in the Wexford area, to work with and support individuals in their own homes. St. Margarets is a rights-based service, working in partnership with adults with disabilities and their families/significant people in their lives, in line with each individual's will, preference and choice. We support each individual to live a meaningful life of their choosing in their own home, at the heart of family, friends and their community. The Role Working with the individual as a member of their circle of support, the key focus is on building a positive relationship to support, enable and empower them to have a good life of their choosing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a skilled and responsive staff team to deliver individualised, rights-based supports. As we flexibly respond to the changes and choices in each individual's life, you may be required to adapt and change to a new way of working. Work patterns include day, weekend, sleepover and waking night shifts. Qualifications Have gained a Health & Social Care Qualification at QQI 5 or related field. Be completing a Social Care Qualification at QQI 5. Have an interest in developing a greater understanding of supporting individuals with disabilities through pursuing a course of studies in Health & Social Care including through our Scholarship Programme. Note: It is a requirement for candidates working at the residential service to have a minimum of 2 modules of QQI 5 Health and Social Care. Experience, Knowledge & Skills Supporting an individual/individuals to live a meaningful life. Working with vulnerable or marginalised people in a range of settings. Awareness/knowledge of intellectual disability, autism and/or social care sector. High level of proficiency in spoken and written English. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.   • Person Support Team Leader  

    - Dublin

    Team Leader - Full-Time Post Please Note: applications outside the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland will not be processed. St. Margarets Network is recruiting a Team Leader to work closely with the people we support and their teams (circle of support) in their own homes. The Team Leader will lead and support the delivery of flexible, responsive, rights-based services with a focus on Supported Self-Directed Living (SSDL) to meet each individuals changing choices and needs. St. Margarets is a rights-based service, working in partnership with adults with disabilities and their families/significant people in their lives, in line with each individuals will, preference and choice. The Role: The Team Leader reports to the Assistant Person Support Manager. The Team Leader has a high level of interaction with each individual ensuring that their voice and choice is central and that their supports are flexible and responsive. The Team Leader will lead, mentor and support the Person Support Team. The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience working in rights-based services with the ability to lead a team, building positive professional relationships and circles of support that will flexibly support each individuals rights, choice, will and preference. Qualifications: Hold a Level 7 Degree or equivalent in Health, Social Care or Applied Social Studies, or relevant field Experience, Knowledge & Skills 2 years' experience working in a similar capacity. Ability to build trust, lead and motivate a team. A flexible, positive and solution-focused approach. High level of proficiency in spoken and written English. High levels of IT literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Full drivers license (B).
