Overview The Person in Charge will co‑ordinate and lead the delivery of quality care consistent with the organisation’s ethos and values in a safe, respectful, empathetic and person‑centred manner and promote inclusion in community life. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring HIQA standards and regulations are adhered to. The position is a specified purpose contract of 9 months to 1 year, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities Co‑ordinate and lead the provision of quality care in the residential service.
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote inclusion in community life and uphold the organisation’s values.
Essential Qualifications & Experience Possess a BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7 on the QQI framework).
Or be registered in the Intellectual Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or be entitled to be so registered.
Hold an appropriate management qualification in health or social care management.
Hold NMBI / CORU Registration.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
