Achieve an industry‑recognised qualification: the Advanced Certificate in Industrial Wind Turbine Engineering, preparing you for roles such as Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician (with salaries typically starting from around €36,000). What We’re Looking For You must be 18 years old by August 2026 when the programme starts, with a QQI Level 4 Major Award (or equivalent) or a minimum of 3 years’ trade‑related experience. A pass grade in Maths at Level 3 (or equivalent) and B2 level English language proficiency. A valid Irish driving licence and the ability to work at heights of up to 100m. Good colour vision and the ability to meet medical fitness requirements for safe site work. An interest in practical, technical work — including learning how turbines operate, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, and developing skills in fault‑finding on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
