  • A Structural Engineer is required by our Client in Cork to work on a variety of buildings across the residential, commercial, retail & healthcare sector. This is a permanent full time role. Irish experience is required to be eligible. Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be in charge of project design from the conceptual to the construction stages. Mentoring Junior Employees & Verifying Designs Building constructions designed in compliance with Eurocodes utilising a variation of materials (RC, Timber, Masonry, Steel). Utilising software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, AutoCAD, Etabs. Revit proficiency highly advantageous. Requirements: Relevant Degree (Level 8 minimum). The successful Mechanical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various Healthcare projects in Ireland.     My Client are a leading Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a strong Senior Electrical Design Engineer to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in Cork. The successful Electrical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Data Centre, Healthcare & Commercial developments. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management. Preparation of design and contract documentation and specifications. Design of systems including but not limited to maximum demand calculations, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, ICT systems, security systems and vertical transport. Coordination of work and collaboration with all members of design teams. Estimating and Cost Control on projects. Compiling project reports. Conceptual design studies and reports. Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group. Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Services engineering or Electrical Engineering. 6+ years post-qualification design experience. Chartered Engineer or enroute to achieving chartership.
